Few words inspire the combination of dread and annoyance that "hey, what's your name?" does. Sigh. Why do all the wrong men try to talk to me? And they're extra wrong the moment I hear those words.

My daughter wants one for Christmas. I tried to tell her they're old-fashioned, but she said, "They're totally better now, Mom." They give me the creeps.

I took the battery out also because it would talk randomly in the night.

I had to turn it around because I was scared of it looking at me at night.

That Furby!
I got to the apartment the other night and weirdly I didn't really detect any stench, but then when I stepped in it reeked of skunk. Obviously my friend doesn't smoke that ****, so that's how deeply it penetrated that I could barely stand to be in this apartment. There's no way I would have been able to tolerate that living situation I was looking into with someone who was a pot smoker.

It's only in the back stairwell, so it's likely one of those folks. They also leave the back door open (it's supposed to be locked at all times). I've only been here a week technically and three days officially, but looks like I'm going to have to report some mess already.

It took me a while to figure out it was weed. And I'm shocked...I dated someone who smoked a lot of weed, and I thought the smell of this particular variety was ingrained in my memory. Guess not.

I hate my body.

Mostly because right now I hate the hip I injured hauling pallets from the raw material room to the wash bay. I think I pulled a muscle. In fact, I sure as hell hope I did, because I can't put ANY weight on it at all.

Yes, I totally earn my 'sister in klutztitude' title.

Rou, I have this picture of you walking around with your arm raised all of the time. I am glad it is not broken but sorry you are still in so much pain.

I feel for you about the social worker. Ages ago, I fell down the steps at home. I went to a new doctor who asked several times "if I was really sure I fell down the steps all by myself." I really thought he was going to call the police for a little bit.

I hope it feels better soon.

Haha! I would always stare at them in the store and think, "these little ******** are weird. The random talking in the middle of the night would have freaked me out too and the price for fear is unreal. I have mentioned here before that Rainbow Brite was my arch enemy. I came across her in storage last month and stood 5 feet away screaming KILL IT!!! That doll freaked me out.
