Mr B has a cold and a fever. Mr B is not a stoic sick person. No, indeed, he is quite dramatic (moans, groans, sighs....he is always like this when he doesn't feel well....I am a very low maintenance sick person and generally just keep to myself until I'm better.) We've turned off all of our lights but one in the kitchen so the trick or treaters don't come. Boo. Makes sense though -- we don't want them getting his germs and also don't want to keep opening the door and letting in the cold air since, you know, Mr B is sick. Mr B is in the living room sighing, moaning, groaning and coughing. I am sitting at the kitchen table in the dark with the laptop being bored. I may have to remind Mr B that I *do* have knives in here in the kitchen. bwahahahahahaha!

(Before y'all think I'm really horrible, I truly do have every sympathy for him and anyone else who doesn't feel well - he just tends to be a little over the top.)
Today was much worse. Couldn't get up stairs w/o crying.... Horrible limp, excruciating pain even with painkillers.

At the docs now. Had to physically push myself out of the vehicle with my arms because my leg would not move to the left. This also left me crying.

I FEEL LIKE SUCH A WUSS.

I am growing increasingly frustrated with work. I like my job and I am good at it. My job is fairly stress free. Except I work with the most passive aggressive a-holes ever (except for one person). Alongside there is favoritism, a$$ kissing, double standards, and hypocrisy. I have learned to tolerate some people to keep the peace at work but it is growing harder and harder. And the worst part is that my boss enjoys their disingenuous behavior and the fact that they are FOS and phony as hell. I hate I am still stuck at this place after ten effing years and still only make ten dollars an hour. I shouldn't have to be this anxious from a simple job like mine.

The ex was even worse. He'd somehow figured out a way to magnify the sound of a sniffle.

Said it hurt so much because of the location.
