Mr B has a cold and a fever. Mr B is not a stoic sick person. No, indeed, he is quite dramatic (moans, groans, sighs....he is always like this when he doesn't feel well....I am a very low maintenance sick person and generally just keep to myself until I'm better.) We've turned off all of our lights but one in the kitchen so the trick or treaters don't come. Boo. Makes sense though -- we don't want them getting his germs and also don't want to keep opening the door and letting in the cold air since, you know, Mr B is sick. Mr B is in the living room sighing, moaning, groaning and coughing. I am sitting at the kitchen table in the dark with the laptop being bored. I may have to remind Mr B that I *do* have knives in here in the kitchen. bwahahahahahaha!

(Before y'all think I'm really horrible, I truly do have every sympathy for him and anyone else who doesn't feel well - he just tends to be a little over the top.)

Today was much worse. Couldn't get up stairs w/o crying.... Horrible limp, excruciating pain even with painkillers.

At the docs now. Had to physically push myself out of the vehicle with my arms because my leg would not move to the left. This also left me crying.

I FEEL LIKE SUCH A WUSS.

I have hosted several large family Thanksgiving day dinners. I hope it goes well.

Mojo, you are not a wuss. I am glad you are getting checked out. Please take it easy and don't be so hard on yourself.

I do not think you are horrible. My husband acts like this, too. Drives me crazy. When I get sick, I want to go to bed and I want to be left alone. I hate the sighing and the moaning that occur when he is sick.

I am growing increasingly frustrated with work. I like my job and I am good at it. My job is fairly stress free. Except I work with the most passive aggressive a-holes ever (except for one person). Alongside there is favoritism, a$$ kissing, double standards, and hypocrisy. I have learned to tolerate some people to keep the peace at work but it is growing harder and harder. And the worst part is that my boss enjoys their disingenuous behavior and the fact that they are FOS and phony as hell. I hate I am still stuck at this place after ten effing years and still only make ten dollars an hour. I shouldn't have to be this anxious from a simple job like mine.

Common man trait, I think.

Mr Man almost never gets sick. But if he does, he moans and groans and is audibly miserable. I feel bad BC I don't want him to be that sick, but sheesh, quiet over there!

Women are expected to still run a house when they're sick.

The ex was even worse. He'd somehow figured out a way to magnify the sound of a sniffle.

Dang girl, calm down! I'm a grown up - I know how to pick up a laptop and hand it to someone without dropping it!

I sprained it. Dr wants to see me in a week, gave me drugs.

Said it hurt so much because of the location.
