I'm on a food high.

The food I ate today. Was pretty freaking good.

So good that I'd say my day was pretty freaking good.

It was an awesome day.

Awesome day at work.

The day's not over, but I'm declaring it awesome.

so my broseph is getting deployed next year, and I keep dreaming of him dead. And then I wake up crying and I can't stop dreaming that. I CANNOT STOP. It puts me in instant cry mode, but it makes me mad because I know that he could die any moment in a car wreck or an accident at work (because accidents in the army happen A LOT, they never mention that) but my dreams though, my dreams. Make em stop. I think I would probably die on the inside.

But it was all a dream.

and that food I ate today was good. So I will not be sad.

Speck, if that's real wood, a dark stain would take care of that problem.
I used to love when I had Schwan's delivery.
Omg!!! Thanks for this post. I forgot all about Schwans. We used to their deliveries when I was a kid.

At the holidays they had the BEST french vanilla ice cream...it came in a tin. It is (was) to die for.

Many years ago I took a call on this date about a man who was driving drunk, with his unsecured toddler in the car. He wrecked 4 times in the 6 minutes it took officers to locate him. He drove into houses, hit several cars, kept switching directions, etc... And he was beating his toddler the entire time because the child was scared and crying, therefore the child caused him to wreck. It had nothing to do with the 6 empty bottles of Jack in his vehicle. Every year since this call, this day has been incredibly wild and mentally exhausting. I keep hoping something will break the cycle, but it has not happened yet.

I am sorry about your brother being deployed next year. I have a cousin who was supposed to be deployed last year, for the 3rd time, but he slipped a disk when jumping out if a plane. He's an old foggie in his mid 30's, you know. i was a nervous wreck. If it was one of my brothers, I would out of frame. Damn it, I wasn't done yet!!! The worry can be stressful. I am glad you had a good day and good food though! And that you refuse to be sad today.

The last night of the show is tonight, and I have to be at the theatre in an hour and a half. I'm of two minds. I wish that today could be this fun, exciting night and I could go out afterwards to the comedy club with the rest of the cast, but I have to get up early tomorrow morning, and I also have to face that I just don't fit in with a lot of the cast. Getting an acceptance later makes this so much more real- I'm not going to be stuck here forever.

I think part of it also the fact that I stayed for intermission yesterday and there was so much to do even during intermission. I always feel a lot better when I'm actively doing something versus just lazing around like I have been all afternoon but I still want this to be easier. I want to be on stage, not sitting in the lobby for an hour.

Also I think I did badly on my SAT subject tests. Ugh.

The plans I had for this weekend were washed away by Sandy, so I've been hanging around the house. I did go to the library earlier, but that was all. I can't remember the last time I had absolutely nothing to do and was this bored.

Car's broken down. Waiting for the AA to come and fix it. Bored.

Edit: sitting the car waiting for the AA sure makes you notice how many people insist on walking around with a coat on. It's frosty, you can see your breath and you need a coat. And I can see them al shivering. Fools

Edit 2: my car is broken. I am without a car. I had to get on a bus. Blegh! I hate my local public transport.

Also converse are really not the best shoes to go out in for any length of time when its freezing cold.

I am still not sure how I feel about you emailing me naked pictures of the man you are dating. Congratulations are in order, seriously, and I know we tell each each other everything BUT show in tell is a bit much. Especially before I am well caffeinated.

For the love of all that's holy, turn off autocorrect/suggest. It's easier to figure out what you're trying to say if you've spelled it wrong as opposed to your phone/tablet deciding to completely change the word(s).

I don't really "get" zombies. That is, the fascination with them. Vampires I get, even if I am 100% done with anything vampire-related.

Hmmm..can I blame auto-correct even though I don't have a smartphone and I'm posting from a laptop?

me neither.

I do love the walking dead and MOVIES that are zombie related like 28 days later and shaun of the dead and zombieland and then that's it.

But I don't get dressing up as a zombie or having zombie stuff only because it looks gross.

I saw a lot of zombie this year for Halloween, aka dirty looking people, I was not amused.

Because no one actually looked like a zombie they just looked dirty and had red marks on them.

Or, as in my case, use the correct keyboard! First it took me a week to realize that when my android updated itself, it switched to the Spanish keyboard and word bank. Then it took another week to figure out how to change it to English. Texting got a whole lit easier after that, but definitely s Duh moment for me.

I think some of the fascination is that the government could put something out that turns us into zombies because testing (drugs, food, chemicals) is lackluster at best. Due to everybody being in everybody else's pockets.
