I just made a hair appointment at a new place. Eep. So nervous. And excited! Can't wait for tuesday! Hopefully I can talk her into straightening it for me. Ain't no way I'm paying that much for a hair cut, only to be sent home without it being styled, like usual! Why do stylists assume that just because I wear my hair curly and make it look pretty, I'm ok with them sending me home with wet, fuzzy hair? Heck no. Straighten it, please.

In other news... I'm trying to make a powerpoint presentation for Spanish class tomorrow, based on a paper I wrote. My paper is about 4.5 pages long (which is about 1.5 pages longer than what she requested). But she somehow wants us to get 25 slides out of that. What? Seriously? I'm thinking like 15, tops. I'm really going to have to bull-crap my way through this! Lots of pictures, and lots of "title" slides.

spring, if it makes you feel any better, I'm the same way about having someone come to the house to fix something. It drives me nuts.

"Should I eat something now? Cuz it's lunchtime and I'm hungry and he should have been here by now....but if I fix lunch and start eating, he'll show up, then I'll feel funny about eating in front of him. But if I don't eat, I'll get lightheaded. Wonder if I should call again to see where he is? Aaarrrgghh!"

Same deal with having to go to the bathroom.

on one hand, i dont want mitt romney to be elected

on the other hand, ive always wanted to form an underground rebellion and lead them in overthrowing the government

idk its a tough choice

I'm loving this tumblr time-waster where someone picks a fandom and the blog owner says what he/she knows about it. Dying at some of the answers from the blogs I read:

Adventure Time:

bubblegum/marceline is a thing
i'm just your problem is a surprisingly good song
people love the show but the art work grosses me out somehow like idk
that gif of the dog beating a thing up and screaming about the constant harassment of the female gender is my fave
there was a genderbent version
idk i just want bubblegum and marceline to make out
lol and that little boy likes bubblegum lol sorry babycakes maybe when you’re older. or a hot girl.

Yugi-oh

everyone's hair is ****ing insane
yugi/yami/yugioh/whatever wears a collar and chains everywhere he goes okay dude if that's what you’re into
joey has a brooklyn accent
people ship yugi w/ the grown up looking version of him??????
joey has sister who's blind and his bff takes advantage of it
everything is resolved through card games
they give long emotional speeches about the sentimental value of cardgames
people spend loads of money on cardgames
**** always goes down during card game tournaments
there are huge fancy card game tournaments
billion dollar corporation revolving around high tech card games
ancient artifacts and prophecies that'll decide the fate of the world are connected to card games
card
games

Quote:
Anything by Joss Wheodon
has the same female protagonist in every movie
"feminist"

Supernatural

brothers
incest???
dean winchester is ****ing hot
gay

BBC Sherlock

john/sherlock is otp everything else is wrong
sherlock is dead but really not
benedict cumberbatch is a tool
guy who plays watson is a racist
there's a girl who shows up sometimes to exacerbate the gay subtext between john and sherlock
sherlock asks john to punch him in the face
people have really strong feelings about sherlock bottoming
does this show even have a plot
i'm p sure it's a rom com w/ occasional drama

Taylor Swift fandom

have poor taste

HAHA!!! That is SO me! Sure enough I took a bite of banana bread because I was starving and the doorbell rang. Thankfully he was only here about 30 minutes and now my world is normal again.

OR MAYBE IT'S a tactic because she's hoping that if she votes for him that it will some how jinx him and he'll lose.

I have a friend/whatever that did this too. I almost died when i saw she had voted for Obama. We have known each other since kindergarten and we used to get in knock down, drag out, democrat vs. republican fights on the playground. Just beat the hell out of each other, and we couldn't even pack our own lunch let alone vote.

They both do, which is why when jeep said it a few pages back my response was "is that you turtles?"

I have frozen chicken already.

iroc, what do I do with the following.

The easy answer? Thaw out the chicken. Clean and put it whole in the crock pot with the chicken broth, beans, maybe a teaspoon each of cumin and curry if you have it. Add maybe a half a teaspoon of Italian seasoning, or Basil/oregano. If you have any green beans or carrots toss them in. Even if you only have canned. Cook it on low for about 5 or 6 hours. Halfway through add a 1/4 cup of rice.

The quinoa you can make seperately and add it to many different things. Or add things to it. Use it as a replacement for rice.

My profile now says I m a 3 A twirly.

Honest question. What does 'twirly' mean?

I just looked it up and Urban dictionary showed definitions I kind of disliked...
