GERD - you suck.
Someone needs to invent a robotic esphogus closer - kinda like a garage door opener - with a remote control!

Yaaaaaas, getting the hell out of here as early as I can catch a bus to NYC. Hello train service past 12:30, readily available, quality, non-gringofied Mexican food, momos, and great Korean.

Hater tears are delicious . . .

Happy 237 Marines! The first MC Ball I ever attended was the 225th birthday. It was so awesome. The one I attended where R. Lee Ermy was guest speaker was second to that. I love my Marines!

Yep!
Hah! My sister is going to an MC ball next weekend in Las Vegas... I may or may not have asked her to keep an eye out for single Marines.
You should just go with her. I'm sure there will be plenty of hot Marines in their Blues who would love to have you as their date. I have to warn you though. They cuss and drink and generally like to get in to trouble. My kind of guys .

I so wish I could! In fact, I even asked if I could. Her Marine friend is flying her out there and paying for her hotel so he can take her as his date... And she claims that she's not sure he even likes her. Um, yeah, ok. Because that's a common thing to do for someone you just want to be friends with!
I'd be willing to look past the aforementioned qualities, I think! I love a man in uniform.

Y'all. Today, I went to Sephora for the first time ever. I don't know what took me so long. I was searching for foundation... What I found was heaven. Can't wait to spend all of my paychecks there.

I did! The consultant had me try Makeup Forever and Urban Decay, based on the criteria that I gave her. I really liked the Urban Decay, so that's what I went with! It's probably slightly more than I should be spending on makeup, but it feels like a worthwhile investment, in the end.

Also, I came to the conclusion that my skin is not nearly as light as I thought it was! It's no wonder none of my other foundation choices have been quite "right."

As I'm getting the ginger tea, she makes a comment to her friend. 'I love making these white *****es get on the floor to get my ****.' I was so pissed, but, being at work, I had to suck it up. Luckily, one of the managers heard her, and he threw her out. Take that!
Actually no, you do not have to suck it up, you have the RIGHT to be treated like a human being at your place of work. As soon as she said that, I would have gotten up, looked her right in the eye, said that "I don't have to accept this kind of treatment from a customer", and then went straight to management to report it. You should have video surveillance on site, which would have at least captured her making you pick stuff up for her (not the comment but the behavior would lend credence to your story, should she make a deal of it - and I bet other customers would have overheard as well).

Sucks that you were treated like that though, and I do admire your ability to show restraint, and am glad your manager kicked her out.

I can't believe someone threatened to beat up an employee because the store was out of a product (he?) wanted.

People are insane.

I'm thinking of getting me and my mom fitbits for christmas (see what I did there? I'm the grinch, I just made the gift semi about me HAHHA) that way we can compete with each other, plus you can redeem points with an app using fitbit and get coupons and such.

But then i feel like its stupid. But then I feel like its fun. But then stupid again.
Anyone have a fit bit?
