Why am I going to waste my time socializing with people I don't like or know? I have to make up the hours. I'd rather leave work earlier since I always have so much to do after work and by the time I have free time it's already late and guess what, I do have a life and people I want to see or things I want to do for my own leisure.
Or I'd rather get my ugly ass nails done or face threaded. It's been weeks or months, dont remember but both are horrible and I haven't made time to do it. I'm getting my nails done in about an hour. And I don't want to hear it. Why is it so hard to understand?

I don't like having to stay at work til 6 or 7 on a holiday week or a Friday ever. And how do you have rollover vacation days? I always run out. Do you really have that much free time on your hands or nothing better to do than work? That's sad.

And why comment because I worked my 8 hours and left at 5:30pm while you are still here? I don't have 60k in student loan debt so no I don't need the overtime. I wish I could, I could use more play money but I got other things to do.

Also just because you are on a diet or have really slow metabolism or feel the need to look like a model stop judging the rest of us for eating real and good food almost everyday. I don't comment on your disgusting salad so don't comment on our pecan pie, hashbrown, grits, etc. Obviously your definition of living life doesn't match ours. Working all the time and eating salads. How sad that must be.

This morning my boss says - "Hey when did you get your hair dyed! It looks cool!" Ok. I've had this stripe of hot pink hair for about 5 1/2 weeks now. I think it might be time for him to get new glasses. : )

I told my mom that I'm off starting Thanksgiving and she takes a moment to lament that we could have gotten tickets for earlier in the month.
Well, it was all of you that initially said the 26th of November, so I asked for time off around that time. It just so happens that the schedule, just made a few days ago has me off before then. There was no way of knowing that when I asked for my time off. Let it go!

geez, insomnia can be wicked!

i had a horrible nightmare and woke up around 1:00 this morning; managed to drift back to sleep and woke again around 2:00, then woke sneezing at 3:10. got back into bed after 4:00 and woke around 5:00. back to fitful sleep and up at 6:30.

i feel awful!



i don't want to take a sleeping pill every night...

I have lots of rollover days here at work, a few that I am even going to probably "lose" at the end of 2012 because you can only transfer 64 hours/year.

And trust me, I am NO over-achiever. I take long weekends, and even took a week-long vacation. And I'm taking the entire week off between X-mas and New Years.

But the days..they add up.

Just curious, why not take them off if you get paid? Is it because you'll fall behind? I would rather not come to work. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't roll over even if I had months of pto.

Currently we only have 14 days total and that includes sick days. We don't get Xmas eve or the day after thanksgiving off.

ZOMG, you guys. So, we're at my in-laws for thanksgiving, and my MIL asked me if I could do the shopping for dinner since she has to work this week. I said yes, of course. I went to the store and got everything, only to come back and realize that both their fridge freezer and huge stand up freezer and packed solid with food. Like, these guys are totally ready for a zombie apocalypse. It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to shove two bags of broccoli, some green beans, and a bag of heat and serve rolls in there.

They had about five gallon bags of frozen blueberries, y'all. For two people, WTF IS GOING ON???

I'm sure it was, sorry about that. I assume you didn't make others feel bad because they didn't have to, because that is f-ing annoying and rude, especially when it's all the time.

Rice and beans is actually good food to me, much better than salads.

Oh, heavens no. My situation was nobody else's problem, and their lunch was none of my business. Besides, I had a guilty conscience about the pop-tarts. (Which were great!)

My mouse killed a cockroach this morning. The critter scampered across my computer table while I was on the net and I quickly raised my mouse and slammed it.


After my delivery this morning i parked in a shopping center to take a short break that unfortunately had a Nordstrom Rack. BIG mistake...didn't get much of a break

I found a really awesome (sounding) potential internship... In my city! Given my major, this is kind of rare.

Trying not to get my hopes up, but... You'd better believe I plan to be the first one to pounce on it when they announce they're accepting applications for the summer internship program!
