I wear a pair of compression socks after long runs. I don't know if they help with recovery, but they feel nice.
They sell ones targeted at runners that are cute - mine are light blue with butterflies on them 
Unfortunately, the ones targeted at runners are a lot more expensive than the ones you can get at the drugstore
