It doesn't matter where I put them, that's the place she wants to be. Last week she mutilated one of my new succulents to death. And today . . .

You'd think that a 10 lb cactus covered in thousands of spines sharp enough to cut through a thick towel and leather gloves would be a deterrent. But NO. This morning she knocked over said cactus and dug it out. I've had that cactus since I was a teenager and it's very precious to me. The roots are all exposed and a few look broken. Despite my best efforts I ended up with about 10 spines deeply embedded in my fingers and my tweezers are no where to be found. then there are the microscopic ones that you can feel, that hurt like hell if something touches them, but can't see to get out. Spines don't grow back btw. I could kill her right now.
Aww, sorry.

I love, love, love lemon button ferns but can not keep one. My tom cat demolishes them. He is so attracted to their smell, and finds a way to get to the plant. It is frustrating.

Those moments when a lecturer looks at all 10 of you in the class and said that he enjoyed teaching you and hopes the next group will be as good

Has every man I come across had such a bad relationship in their lives that they've all sworn off relationships now? That's the second guy whose said that to me recently.

I'm beginning to think there's something wrong with me.

There are good ones out there! I felt like you for a long time ...

I mean, most of us have had bad relationships. I'm not sure why men (in general) seem to hold onto the hurt from previous relationships a lot more than women do, in terms of impacting their future relationships.

I sure hope not! Or at least I didn't die after being banned from internet and tv yesterday.... (concussion and they both made the symptoms MUCH worse).

Ugh. The news about the 3 students killed on campus in Casper Wyoming this morning, with a bow & arrow, is just dreadful.

Wait, was it today or a previous attack. I just heard two different things. One said that it happened this am and they were not allowing students on campus and then I heard something else about the suspected attacker being one of the bodies found, as of a press conference Wed ???

One student, one possible faculty member, and possibly the suspect. Awful.

I went to Michael's today to buy wreath making supplies (mine was in desperate need of an update) and even though I did my best not to touch anything glittered, I still came out covered in it. The lady that rang me up said it's so bad she's covered in it even when she's not at work.

RCC, I honestly don't know how you work at TJ's with out wanting to eat all the things!

I went in today for fruits and veggies and came out with:
Chocolate covered Joe-Joes
Dark Chocolate Candy Cane truffles
Spinach & Kale Greek yogurt dip
Sea Salt Pita chips
I almost came home with Pecan Pie ice cream....talked myself out of it
And I got Spicy Peanut vinagrette....OMG! So delish on my salad.

That pecan pie ice cream is AWESOME. I had a sample in store and it was all I could do not to buy every container. They served it with waffle cone cookies and I died. I'll probably finally decide to buy some and it will be all gone.

AND I could have swore I put those candy cane truffles in my cart the other day and I guess I didn't!!! I got home and searched all over for them and nowhere to be found and not on my receipt. I may have shed a tear.

I *do* eat all the things, lol. We always have something in the breakroom so the new people know what stuff tastes like.

I don't even like peppermint/candy cane stuff usually (except for the Ghiradelli white chocolate peppermint squares, which is double weird because I don't normally like white chocolate either!), but I wanted those stupid truffles.

I had to stop myself from going into Michaels the last time I was close to one. I have many beads that can be used with my bead loom, and I do not need more. Did you hear that self? You do not need more! You just want them. lol. It's hard enough to avoid the mom and pop craft shop, which sells high dollar beads, that is on my way home.

Mmmm! The roasted red pepper mustard looks fantastic. I have never seen or tried it, which is a shame because I am a fool for peppers.
