Firefox has an Ad Blocker ad-on. I also have a Flash blocker ad-on. I don't see ANY ads aside from one that might slip through. It's wonderful :-)
I don't ever see any of the regular ads (I could never stand visiting this site without ad blockers), but my various ad blockers don't block the Trends or Curly Gurus banners inside the threads. I just can't get rid of them permanently so I hide them once a day so I don't have to see them. They annoy me still.

I have only been awake for 50 min or so but it has flown by. I am so glad I did most of my laundry yesterday. I am no where near motivated at the moment.

Oh that's true. The gurus and 'trending topics' can't be permanently blocked. Dammit

Congrats Speckla (little late but whatevs).

Drove to the dr to get cleared to work tomorrow and Friday, she gives me clearance. By the time I leave....

SNOWMAGEDDON.

But my work wanted the paperwork to submit so I begin trudging my way to work, to find out, 3/4 of the way there, that they want the paperwork tomorrow and that they cancelled my shifts for this week (I still get paid).

So I drove out there, in whiteout conditions (I couldn't see 10ft past my hood), with my windshield wipers CONSTANTLY getting covered in ice and snow so that they did absolutely nothing when used, for what?

Nothing?

I could have stayed at home. Watched snowmageddon from inside my warm, toasty apartment, with a cuppa hot chocolate or apple cider or something delicious and warm.

I feel like crying.

I've worked my ass off this past week creating items for this permanent craft stall that I'm supposed to be setting up on Monday.

To finish them off I needed to order something which I did, first class, was supposed to be here today and hasn't turned up. I'm getting a 'we tried to deliver but you were out so we left a note' ******** when I track it. People have been delivering things all day and we heard the doorbell every time. There's no calling card. They are lying.

So now I have to try and sort it out, somehow get my parcel with no card and it means I won't be able to complete any of these pieces in time. So I'm showing up to thing thing without anywhere near enough stuff. Just prints. How can you make a selling area look good with just prints? You can't. Prints aren't a display.

I'm actually close to tears right now.

Ah, Kat, I'm so sorry. I know how frustrating that can be. Running a business is HARD WORK. It will be OK. The booth will still be there. Things like this happen and with time, they will become less frustrating and less frequent

-I was so excited today with my Target savings and felt all full of myself as I strode out of there, then I got to the truck and realized I forgot to use a $1 off coupon that was on my phone! I still saved a good bit, but that darn $1 that I forgot to use pooped right in my sandbox.

-Lady in front of me at Starbucks, my WORD, give that poor guy a break! He's working alone and going as fast as he can, don't question him about his job and by the way, you are NOT the only person in the world ordering coffee. I'm pretty sure my eyes bugged out when she barked at him "Well, are you going to make the drink OR WHAT?!?" as he was taking someones order. No, you crazy witch we have magic coffee machines and they just appear at your whim. I could not work with the public and actually keep my job.

I had an abundance of browning bananas, so I made two different types of bread.

Currently munching on the coconut banana bread. FAN-TAS-TIC!!!

Can't wait to try the peanut butter banana bread. I had to stop myself from eating all the batter!

Thanks Scrills. Feeling a little bit overwhelmed with it all. I might see if they mind waiting an extra week before I set up. I feel bad because don't like messing people around. And while I'm busy trying to do stuff for this, I don't have time to make stuff to get my Etsy store off the ground. Right now everything just seems to be taking me forever so god knows how I'm going to work out a fair price for anything.

At this moment I despise ringing phones with every bit of my being.

I'm sorry you are going through so much turmoil with the decisions you have to make.

You can do it. Even if you miss the prick.

SCG, it was just so ridiculous. She didn't want to wait for her drink so she demanded a refund....which she had to wait for because he was ringing up two more people. I know I don't know what kind of day she was having or what she was in such a rush to get to, but she didn't have to treat the guy with such disdain. I don't like the fact that the very busy SB at our Target never has more than one person behind the counter (ever), but I'm certainly not going to berate the one person working like it's their fault.

^^trust me. Im right there with you. I have inventory i bought months ago that I've had setback after setbacks. More money than i would like tied up in something trendy. Oh well. It will happen when it happens.

It always seems to take more time and energy than you ever planned on. Don't be too down on yourself. My friend and i have these conversations weekly.

You have given good advice to someone else, and identified that you are afraid and depressed. That is one hellova' starting point. You just have to keep that in the front of your mind.
