We (and I am sure everyone else doing the same job) have a large problem with people contacting news stations to give them their interpretation of a call. They hear *parts* on the scanner, and wildly guess at the rest. So many things get blown WAY out of proportion. But yes, no matter how it's twisted, a dumpster fire is reaching.

Sadly, scanner land is a vast and strange place. lol. I can't believe the number of people who sit at home and listen to it, or monitor for breaking news, 24-7.

I have done the same with character from Days of Our Lives. I keep seeing them as (insert popular couple that married when I was in elementary or high school's) little boy. They stay a baby for so long and then they turn 15 over night.

i'm officially delirious because i barely slept last night - and today is going to be a packed day because TWO big issues blew up yesterday while my boss was at the divisional meeting in Toronto. i've also got to finish a rough draft of those minutes and have a meeting with my mentor about the training program.

i'm pretty sure that everything will be looking like a pillow to me, too, by about noon.....

Nothing makes you feel more like a a squishy soft marshmallow than one of your already ultra-fit FB friends posting about waking up at an ungodly hour to go do boot camp workout before work.

But I must admit that I just don't see it as a huge accomplishment worthy of all the "so proud of me/you" celebration because it's not as if she was an out-of-shape slacker in the first place. She's a gym-goer and runner anyway!

I'm all for the Safe Haven law but I don't agree with 72 hours. It should be 3 months at least. Plenty of people decide to take their babies home then end up abusing them in some form or another because they just don't know what to do.
