Nyn - I would if I could, but you don't know the person we are talking about. All I can do is hope they go away by their own volition.

Murrrturtles - I needed that hug.

Saria and potential SF meet up curlies - we really should do this. It would be awesome (said in the girl from Mean Girls' 'it was awesome' voice).

I'd be miffed about receiving starter, too, by the way, since starter is an ongoing commitment plus I'd really prefer to make up my own from the beginning. I eventually let my starter die because I knew I couldn't keep up with the commitment of feeding it for time and monetary reasons.
I don't get why someone would gift starter to someone who doesn't really bake bread.

Or at least ask, "Hey, I'm making some bread starter. Do you want some?"

I brought my Christmas cards in to work tonight, again. It's 5am and I haven't done them, again. I really, really can't be bothered with them. Bah, humbug.

Now I'm curious, dammit

This week needs to end. Yesterday I got up, drove through snow and ice for an hour (double normal commute time), worked for 8 hours, another hour back in snow and ice, ran for three hours on a treadmill, snarfed down some Chinese takeout, and went to sleep. Got up, drove another hour through ice (they need to fix the roads, stat), and now I'm at work again. At least I only have an hour of running tonight, so I will get to stop and breathe for a while tonight.

At least I get birthday presents and cake tomorrow

There are only 3,081 pages on my app (iPhone) but this thread was really strange yesterday. Well, everything has been really strange, but the pages were out of order on this a few times.

PS- Enjoy the presents and cake tomorrow!!

At first I was like, "5 am, where?!" and then I realised that you wrote this post

She must only view ten posts per page, whereas most of us probably do 20.

I am sorry you are all sick. I know there are two really rough colds, a sinus infection, and the flu floating around here. I will keep disinfecting. If you knew the (gross) messy people I worked with you would understand why. Tissues go in the trash, not on the desk, and you might want to at least wash your hands once in 12 hours :-/

I hope you all can shake it sooner than later! Some have started to recover in a few days, especially if the step it up with Vit C, B Complex, and garlic.

Again, feel better!

Omg I feel like I'm gonna throw up. The insurance adjuster is going to call me some time today or tomorrow... I just know I'm going to say something stupid, again. Because, hello, this is me we're talking about.

I *hate* when people mark/underline books with pen. It's a freaking library book. Either photocopy and highlight/mark to your will or use a freaking pencil and erase it when you are finished. I'm annoyed. So damn annoyed. I find it really distracting to be reading a book that's already marked. Christ! I borrow a book from the other campuses and not a single mark!

I ended up with a chest cold that lasted over a week and then returned into bronchitis and pneumonia (twice) last Christmas because of the same co worker who will not keep it at home. Though she expects you to. Makes no sense.

I am still mad at her, can you tell? lol

Apple say I need to take my iMac into the store to the genius bar to get the CD player looked at. Yeah, I'm going to heave that through the shopping centre during the most manic time of the shopping year. It can wait until after the sales in January.

Edit: I just got my payslip with the Xmas bonus. Sure it's better than a kick in the teeth but its also insulting.

I had no idea you could change that. I am now seeing 30 per page, just to be different

I might have considered letting you use my phone, considering that you just got out of jail BUT given the fact that all of you approached me screaming incredibly loud, and calling me baby and shorty, you're on your own. So sorry! I am from the time before cell phones. Surely 3 18 year old boys such as yourself can figure out how to get back apartments about 5 min. from here with out a ride.
