minxy, ditto what CC said. Wish I was closer I'd give you a ride home without a second thought. Or heck I'd just bring you back here to have dinner with us THEN take you home, but that might constitute kidnapping and since it's so close to Christmas I can't risk jail time and not being able to open my gifts. But I'd still give you a ride home, no problem.

SCG, how are things going with insurance and such in relation to your car incident?

Pretty well, actually. The insurance adjuster is coming to my house tomorrow to take a look at my car. Also, my insurance company has some sort of an online sketchpad I can use to show them exactly what happened, which I imagine will make more sense than just trying to explain it!

Based on what we've heard so far, it sounds like things might be swaying in my favor... The damage was to the back right end of my bumper, and the front right side of his truck. Which means he hit me as I was already in the process of turning, and therefore, should've technically been in control of his vehicle. Or something like that. He was originally claiming that I had attempted to make a right turn from the left lane... Which I would never do and really can't be the case, given where the damage is (I think?).

So, I'm feeling a lot better now! I was really freaking out on Monday and most of Tuesday, in case you hadn't noticed. Thanks for asking!

I can imagine! I thought about you on my way home tonight in bumper to bumper traffic as I watched people driving like maniacs. That has to be such a sinking feeling when that happens.

Alicia Keys looks like a different person. Still very cute but something weird about her face. I prefer her hair curly tho I did love her straight bob tonite with the blonde streak. But still something off about her face.

That's why I use this at home.

And this at the office (under my desk)

The gym is too crowded and I don't have the time between school and work. Throw in some 5 lbs dumb bells and crunches and it's all covered.

what is that top contraption speck?

I thought about buying a regular stool and doing steps in my room. I was going to get in on the deals in January for a gym membership because my apt gym NOTHING WORKS IN THERE AT ALL. and my school's gym doesn't let you use incline, which is b.s, I live on flat land and need to train for a 10k with hills, but I don't know how to because I literally have not a single hill in a 50 mile radius...(or idk because i don't know how far that is but I'd have to drive at least 3 hours to get some kind of up hill ground) but I don't want to deal with crowds, hrmmmm, anyone have tips for training for hills without being surrounded by hills??

^^ Do you have a parking garage nearby? They usually have a nice incline.

The picture is at funky angle but it's a Gold's Gym mini-stepper. It has resistance bands. The tension is adjustable and it's quite a workout.

A few years ago I trained for a marathon in the middle of winter so when the snow and wind would get to me, I'd use the parking garage near my house. Kind of boring but it was dry and less windy and it worked great!

Cheaper and more polictically correct than a mini stripper.
