So often in our world, we are exposed to examples of religious intolerance and religiously justified violence and hatred. And yet, in so many places, far from the spotlight of the media, small groups of religious believers of different faiths continue to gather in friendship and respect, supporting one another and building bridges of understanding and mutual esteem, drawing upon the best of their respective traditions to promote love and generosity.
A few small candles in a single monastery window may seem miniscule in the face of the world and its problems, but faith says that that light can be a powerful beacon of possibilities — a light of warmth and co-operation, of shared values and hope for peace, in all the troubled parts of our world, which are still plagued by darkness.
The good news is, THEY'RE ALL OVER! I finished my last one last night. So, obviously I had to celebrate, and being the CRAZY college kid I am, I read a "fun book" until 3 am last night. Yeah, I get pretty out of control sometimes.
I hate you so much right now. My final one is in a few, about to leave home and head to the library to cram in some more "knowledge."

I feel so...odd. I don't have any assignments due or exams to study for. The semester flew by and was a blur, but now it's like rhuh? What the.....? Wah?
