I think MovingOn was just Gabi### who hadn't posted in a while. Guess she came back to say goodbye?

I missed her too. And neither do I...but I haven't been here long. The biggest trolls I remember are citrus, AllyT and aliases, and ~~. Wonder how she's doing...lol.

ETA: Oops, sorry Gabi! I thought MovingOn was a troll that was quickly poofed.

MovingOn's thread is still on page one, almost at the bottom.

The (to me) obvious troll is in another thread.

Why, hello there.

Attachment 28477

A new Tojiro DP Petty, one of my very favorite knives because that little sucker gets SHARP and stays sharp a while. I'm giving my old one to my mom. The Wusthof 10-inch to replace my 8-inch, which my mom will also get. And the Tojiro bread knife had great reviews so I figured I'd try it out instead of buying another Suisin as I had planned. My mom will either get my Suisin or I might give her the new Tojiro. My parents lack a bread knife and it's annoying that the only time I can slice bread is if I have my knife bag on me.

I am amazed with members who've been on here ten years or more and have about 500 posts or less. Its either incredible self control or some of us have no life

I think I'm over 1000 now (can't see on the app), but it took me over 9 years to get to this point.

I read more than I post.

I also have no desire to toss my hat into the ring in more heated threads.

I also think really hard before I post stuff, to the point where sometimes I overthink it and end up just deleting the post.

I clearly have no life.

I came for hair help but ended up enjoying the rest. I have deleted several posts and sometimes wonder how I have made it to 2 million posts I clearly like to talk.

Don't the numbers re set at some point? Did someone tell me that?

FYI-

For anyone who's thinking of buying from Etsy...I had a bad experience with a vendor, LongDayArts. She had overall positive feedback. So I bought some macarons. But they arrived completely broken and partially pulverized, as there was no padding or bubble wrap whatsoever. It wasn't mentioned anywhere on her Etsy page that the filling was in a separate ziplock baggie for buyers to pipe in themselves. They were for a Christmas gift, but there was NO WAY I could give them to someone.

She was good about giving me a refund though. I asked her if I should return them or toss. She said to toss them. My husband, who hates to throw away any food, tasted one and afterward said, "Go ahead and throw them away." I love Etsy and have had some great experiences with it but maybe I'll stick to buying earrings and mineral makeup there instead.

I can not get a true to life photo with my iPhone camera, but imagine a cross between both of these photos:

Attachment 28488

I love it when the leaves are gone and I can look out of my window and see things like things.

I'm giggling at my libertarian-leaning husband right now. He's posting how we should be more like Switzerland, which issues a rifle to all adult citizens and makes them take training to use them. Yeah, it's okay for the government to make us have guns, but not healthcare? Cognitive dissonance, anyone? I called him a commie on FB...LOL (yeah, we've been married a long time... )
