Peter Jackson and Del Toro....you're my boos.
Wait, Legolas (sigh) ? Is Legolas (yum) in the Hobbit? If so, that is all I need to know.
No. Not Legolas. There is a new Dwarf character with a bow........Sigh.

Lee Pace is coming back to Broadway soon! You're coming to NY to see him with me, right?
Shut the front door! When is this? I should be coming to visit Saria in April I'm hoping it's during that time frame.

I was a little stressed when I got to the theater the other night to see The Hobbit so I was distracted and didn't catch Peter Jackson's cameo role. : (

I have been going crazy trying to find my daughter's school pictures. No where to be found. My husband "cleans" by sweeping everything into piles against the walls. Which wouldn't be so bad if he, you know, would then actually proceed to clean up the pile.

Anyway, I just picked up some books to put them away and there are the pictures on the floor. I really wish he would stop doing that.

The good news is, he shaved!

You're all seeing The Hobbit already? Not fair, it doesn't open here until Boxing Day and I'm working too much this week to get there. Humph.

Most accurate representation of the terrifying, ass-backwards LOK fandom:

Quote:
oh look asami is sad let's build an altar to her tears rest dear sweet angel darling your beauty and femininity and kindness shall be tainted no more

and when korra's sad they’re like wow stop crying hoe you're sturdy grow up aye mako stop comforting her ******* go tend to asami's needs shut the **** up korra you whine so much wow look at her threatening someone to find her friend what a violent rude ***** let's make a graphic of kyoshi beating her for being sad and watch as it rises to literally almost 30,000 notes god that korra, getting overwhelmed in overwhelming situations
Actual quote from an Asami stan:

Quote:
mako even had the gall to comfort korra after she had been kidnapped ignoring that Asami was right there
Just wow.

Possibly the only person on the planet not at all interested in seeing The Hobbit.

Perked up and considered seeing it if only to watch yummy Richard Armitage...

Discovered he's a dwarf and not at all attractively presented in it and lost all interest again.

@ kayb- Oooh, I see. Hopefully I will get to watch it Christmas night or soon after.

Ah, morning
Attachment 28725

Every 4 or 5 months my Biff and I exchange this Damien Rice song (shed a tear for the lyrics). It is one of our favorites from O (shed a tear for no new album in years), and we marvel at this performance (shed half a musical tear for rumors that he wants to break into acting). Anytheway, he sent it to me this morning and I thought I would share. Note he does speak for a few min before he say Cheer's Darlin'' (sniff).

i am off on the train this morning to go to mom's in Toronto. this is my 4th trip to the city since the beginning of November thanks to my course!

since xmas isn't until Tuesday, i decided to treat myself to a sleep-in this morning and take the 11:00 am train instead of 7:30.

ran the dishwasher last night, so this morning i'll do a bit of laundry and wash my hair - you're thrilled, i can tell!

i will be off and on here until i get home Wednesday night.

happy holidays/Yule/Christmas/Kwanzaa - whichever one is close to your heart!

"O" is amazing. I love every single song, and never tire of hearing it. It's on the 'top 20 greatest albums of all time' list, according to Fifi. He is so gifted.

I have no interest in LOTR, which makes me sad because everyone is all into The Hobbit.

Ugh, I already broke my Lifeproof phone case.

So this tool gave notice then emailed to say that he needed to resign immediately. He told one of the cooks who he was buddies with that he figured he "shouldn't be unhappy for two weeks". What the **** kind of ass-backwards unprofessional logic is that?
Also, he has been treated really well here, so it's extra BS for him to be telling anyone how unhappy he felt.
I was going to work six days this coming week anyway, and making bank because Christmas = holiday pay + time and a half.
Now I'll probably have to work six days the week after and possibly more thanks to him.

I loved the LOTR movies and didn't finish the first book, they were so damn painful! I vaguely remember reading The Hobbit for school but again painful to finish. I'm looking forward to the movie.

The SO on the other hand loved the books growing up but didn't like the movies and doesn't want to see The Hobbit. He hates how the dwarves are the comic relief and has a burning hatred for Legolas in the movies.

I think of the books vs movies as two different animals set in the same world.
