I am indeed in Adelaide. The whales pass nearby when they migrate but I must admit I've never bothered to go and see them, I really should make the effort one of these days.
Weather generally or now? Now it's hideously hot - forecast in 30's and 40's for the next week (I foresee lots of cupboard tidying as it'll be too hot to go out) pretty typical summer weather, hate it.
Generally it's good. I really don't like the heat so summer's are difficult but it is at least a dry heat which is marginally more bearable. Spring and Autumn are mild and lovely, Winter's pretty mild too, daytime temps rarely go below 13/14c.

I totally hate iTunes right now. I had to install the latest version of it yesterday after I got my new computer. After it finished, I went to charge my iTouch and it stated that there was an update of the software available. I went to install the update and it ended up erasing all of my songs. I have no music whatsoever. I have nothing backed up, but my iTunes account should have my purchasing history. Yet when I tried to log in to iTunes, I get a message saying my account was disabled. When it rains, it pours.

I just emailed them through their site. Not sure how fast they'll respond. Even if they respond today, I won't be home tonight to do anything as I'm going out and I'm having guests over for dinner tomorrow, so it may be a couple of days before it gets straightened out.

No, I think Kayb is talking about another woman, sadly. This one was 23 (a med school student) and she and her fiancé were beaten on a bus, she was gang raped, then they threw her and the fiancé out of a moving vehicle. She was flown to Singapore but died of her injuries. Horrible story. I can't even.

The poor girl your talking about...that's awful, too. Poor thing. As if it weren't horrible enough to be raped, but to have people harass you to the point that you'd rather be dead. Tragic.

I know that she committed suicide! I knew that she was in a hospital in Singapore and that she had died, but I thought her death was as a result of her injuries.
