Remove all garlic pieces; strain through cheesecloth if you must. Put 3 drops of warm oil into bad ear while laying down and lay still for 5 minutes. Put cotton ball (small piece of one!) into ear opening but don't push into ear canal. By end of 5 minutes pain is dramatically decreased!!!!!

Garlic is a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-mircrobial. And you get to smell all garlicy for hours

Hope little one feels much better soon!
I gave him ibuprofen this afternoon, and now he's saying his ear feels fine. I hope the ache was a fluke/exaggeration, not another infection!

they have about 50 years on them in the mother/sister department, so there is some wear and tear....

1) the pre-bottled Bellini from last night? Tasty. Now I want to try to make it with real peaches.

2) How in the world did I come down with this cold? I've hardly left the house in days. No one else in the house is sick. No fair!

3) Hubby is still pouting that his team wasn't in the "right" bowl game, and that he should BE THERE now! Yeah, if only...

I had a peach Bellini years ago at a restaurant and it was so tasty.

I'm on the tail end of this flu-cold thingie. Poor Davin has it, too, so we've been sicklings together. We're both at the phase where we have some energy back but are still congested and coughing.

Youtube needs to close its comments. Heck, most sites (news to whatever) need to close their comments. I am happy to see that many are starting too. Either that or moderate heavily.

I am willing to throw in my parents for free. Really. No strings attached! Except that you can't give them back.

I was about his height in the heels. When I took off my heels when we were photographed on the beach and was suddenly much shorter than him, he glanced at me and goes, "You just got even MORE beautiful."

I admit, that melted me a bit.

He was extremely touchy-feely towards the end of the night (ah, open bar...) and we hugged/kissed goodbye but we haven't spoken since.

I saw him at the groom's birthday party last night. Hugged/kissed hello, but we didn't talk much (it was a karokee party and he definitely sang a lot) but my GOSH, he seriously stared at me ALL NIGHT. A high school friend I hadn't seen in years was there and I was catching-up with him and even he said, "Do you have some weird history with that guy over there? Because he cannot take his eyes off of you..."

I was like, "I barely know him...but we did a fantastic job walking down the aisle together..."

Hugged/kissed goodbye...but now I'm regretting that I didn't sit next to him and say in a 1940's vixen voice,
"Didn't your mother ever tell you it's rude to stare, slugger (WINK)?"

I'm not emotionally invested with this guy at all...but he's sweet and cute and apparently attracted to me. Could be fun!
go get him, D! The ones you don't emotionally invest in at first can very well be the one! (ahem, Mr. KK...) And, besides, he can surely be the one for now, as in a date or two, right?

He just randomly uploaded photos from the wedding. Three months later. Including one of us entering together, which he tagged me in.

My gosh, he's in love with me. It's just so darn obvious!!!

After the wedding (in October), I emailed him and just said, "How much fun was this weekend?! We should get lunch or dinner some time!"

He responded by saying that he actually lived in South Jersey. (I guess he was under the impression that I was in the city.)

I told him I lived (town I am in in Central Jersey) so it wasn't too far.

Never heard from him again.

I took it as "he's just not that into me and I refuse to chase."
