Anyway, sandy cookies are best. (Except when crisp cookies are.)

"Soft" cookies mostly suck (a few exceptions exist, namely madeleines if you choose to classify them as cookies). Chewy is not the same as soft (aka cakey, no thank you).

I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

Excellent. Thank you. I put it on a bed of onions. I'm so excited. I have it in the oven now. It should take a couple hours?

It smells yummy already. I put garlic cloves in it too.

Did I mention I'm excited? And I DO have a meat thermo.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I hope it wasn't all sarcastic smart assedness and a few of them were helpful or contributing in a positive way to our curly community.

What the hell have I talked about for that many posts!?! My word, cray-cray

Make sure to have some oil on the onions so they don't end up all dry.
When the meat is all seared, you can toss the onions in the pan if they're not browned. If you have beer, brandy, or wine, you can toss some in and you'll have some nice flavorful onions to go with your roast.
Otherwise I'd say chimichurri, but you have no herbs.
