Y'all...for real.

I'm watching the first show of the new season of The Bachelor and I've never seen this before, but it's a hot mess. Some of these girls have cray-cray of the eye.

Train.
Wreck.

Byron,GA> Charleston, SC> Jacksonville, FL> Guilford, CT> Rohnert Park, CA! A southern drawl in sunny Cali! .
The amount of time from slipping on the peel and landing on the pavement is exactly one bananosecond.
I do have a secret yen for pink in unexpected places. ~ninja dog
I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
I need to go to bed...like an hour ago! But I'm into season 3 of SOA and just can't turn it off!
I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.

I was trying to finish reading this book, but it's too cold in this place for me to be anything but completely encased in my three-quilt/blanket cocoon and well, I can't quite see under it. I can't wait until summer. I'm gonna enjoy the small feeling of revenge when everyone around here is in pain at the mere thought of 70+ degree weather.
The sunlight. It burns me!!

I hate that I have to sleep in a sweater, my warmest hoodie on top of that, and then completely seal myself in the three comforters/blankets.
Saria, every time I'm out and see an electric blanket I think about you and wish you had one.

I couldn't have survived in CT without ours, the cold was so painful.

I was looking into them, but reviews were so mixed for the more affordable ones that I couldn't put one in my cart.

We have really cool evenings and I'd turn it on in the spring and fall as well.

Just a tip, if ordering from Kohl's they regularly have a 20% off code, sometimes 25%.

Thanks!

I love this so much!

i'm so ****ing tired of ego policing of EVERYONE but especially of women and girls and this person has ****ing broken the camel's back because i have been meaning to ***** about this for a while now

we live in a world of crippling insecurity and eating disorders and desperate, black, terrible depression and self-hatred and suicide and our biggest ****ing concern is that a girl might think she is really awesome

like the worst thing in the world for some people is a girl who admits she thinks she is hot, who knows she is smart, who is happy to tell you that actually she is right and her idea is better

that's my favorite kind of ****ing girl

I WANT EVERY GIRL TO THINK SHE IS ****ING AWESOME

#korra

YES P OMG KORRA i couldn't remember what it was that had previously made me want to write this post and yes korra is exactly what it was - i am ****ing sick to DEATH of seeing people police korra's ego like are you ****ing kidding me

of COURSE when we finally get an extremely popular badass feminist leading female cartoon character, the world is going to police her for being confident and arrogant and brash and loud and self-possessed when not a peep would be made about an identical male protagonist

like sorry that makes you so ****ing uncomfortable but guess what, korra is perfect proof that a girl can be sweet and caring and lovely and empathetic and protective and still be loudly and expressedly confident and arrogant and bold and utterly in charge of her own life and the world around her

like, god, i'm so done with people who seriously going to knock korra or ANY real life girl down for that

That is a beautiful rant, Saria. Bad self esteem in women is oddly glamorized in media like rom coms sometimes and it is so completely unhealthy and weird. Not to mention that the glamorized version...is glamorized. So they're making you feel bad about actually having consequences to your low self-esteem AND you suck when you learn to love yourself. Also OMG when I get to Korra I will dance the dance of joy.

And then I have to listen to the prank call of the day, a large proportion of which are women being made to believe their husbands are cheating on them. One time they pretended to be a pharmacist, and they called a man to tell him his wife's HIV medication was ready, because what's funnier than making a person believe he's been exposed by his wife to a deadly virus, and the possibility that the person will hang up the phone and go after his wife, am I right?

I have just realised that I eat when I'm bored. I'm doing a very boring job at work and have eaten 4 biscuits for no reason. No wonder I've put on weight.
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
^^^I do that too, Laura. Frustrating.

Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
19 degrees can kiss my a$$!! I am so ready for the upper 50's high. I am even more ready for the (almost) 70 degree high on Saturday and Monday.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??
