Gutted.

Had plans of moving in with my two close friends sometime by the end of the year.

One has put payment down on a mortgage for her own place.

The other has just announced she's moving in with her bf.

I'm happy for them. But also pretty upset. Everyone is moving on with their lives, while I am unable to move out and now have no one I would be able to move in with. I was so excited about the possibility of living with my friends and now it will never happen.

Nana wants my sister and my cousin and i to come to Florida to visit her this winter.

all well and good, except i'm petrified of flying and i don't drive. no problem, my cousin says, i'll drive, but we have to take my doggies with us, if Nana says it's okay to take them to her house and these are the days i'm thinking of.

but now she doesn't want to do the driving herself - can't say that i blame her - but she can't find anyone to go to share the driving...

So the personal business (PBY) policy changed as of today. I'm thrilled because the thorn in my side shift mate can't make up isht anymore and leave on the fly, etc (at least with PBY). I'm hearing grumbling but I'm just so happy about it and wonder if it was his doing this happened:

You may not use PBY as an after the fact request to cover last minute personal unforeseen events any longer

I'm curious about the whole "after the fact" thing. That's never been in play to my knowledge. although the rules are obviously different for a certain 3 people here.
