Oh yeah, in truth I sometimes go weeks. Most commonly with private FB messages.

So I've been angsting about the leftover cream after I make pie tomorrow. It bugs me because I'm in no mood to make anything else since pies are hard to get rid of in this household, as are custards, so adding anything else is just excessive. But damn it, the trouble I go to for good cream, and that **** is expensive (seriously, it was the only one I could find because WF at Union Square is always out of good cream, so Food Emporium it was, $6.49 for a pint of the stuff). Then it hit me that I'm an idiot because whatever cream I have left I can use it for a project I have in mind but don't want to make now, because it can be frozen and in fact needs to be frozen! Hooray!

The cream is for the pie. The leftover cream is the issue because I don't want to make something on top of said pie. But I remembered how I can make it and freeze it till I'm good and ready.

Just remembered that my siblings were once again discussing future double-date options while I was slaving away on dinner last night.

I'd forgotten about it because I was busy at the time, but now I'm properly annoyed after thinking back on it!

They were all "Let's go do lame touristy things in our city! Like Segway tours!" WHAT? I TOTALLY HAD THAT IDEA MONTHS AGO!

I think I need to go to sleep.

I wouldn't really want to hang out with the four of them anyway because my sister's man friend is an engineer. I fear that's a contagious condition as well. (No offense meant to any curly engineers. I just know too many douchey ones...)

Why does no-one make dresses that are somewhere between knee length and ankle length? I don't care what the fashions are, I know I have terrible legs and want them covered (without tripping up) thank-you. I have been to umpteen shops today, found a whole two dresses that were a reasonable length - one made me look pregnant and the other I bought in desperation - never a good idea. I was looking at the returns policy on the receipt at the first set of lights I stopped at after leaving the shopping centre.

i happened upon some french tourist and they said that i was french in a pass life. they explained why, but i had a time trying to understand their accents. i just know i felt all warm and fuzzy. now i know why they said it. we have chocolate and coffee or hot cocoa everyday at work. i also eat a lot of cheese and drink alot of wine. i also have a mild affinity towards french bakeries.

I awoke to the sound of thunder this morning. I was all grumbly about another wet day, so imagine my surprise when I looked outside and saw snow! It won't stick around long, since it's supposed to warm up to the low 40s this afternoon, but it was so pretty. Danae was so mad that she didn't get to stay home from school. It seriously was only about 3/4 of an inch deep, but usually, the first hint of a snowflake gets the schools cancelled around here...LOL Davin and our doggy were out stomping around in it having a grand old time. It was a fun way to start the day.
