My vest showed up today and it's totally cute! It's probably not the most... Slimming thing on the planet. But I'm totes going to wear it anyway! It's super cozy.

I'm thinking of committing a minor crime and hoping sexy policeman turns up to tell me off. Or go and hang out around the police station on my lunch hours.
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.

I am thinking of making a hot toddy later. It has been years since I have had any kind of alcohol. But it looks like there is an unopened bottle of Jack Daniels in the cabinent. A really, really, really old bottle. Hmmm....

I really don't like my SO today. He's being a jerk. Scratch that, he's being an *******.

Actually, it's not just today, this has been going on for quite some time. He’d better knock it off. Tired of this B.S.

And you know what? IDC if he's under stress. He should not be taking it out on me, or anyone else for that matter. For real. Get thee to therapy, get a punching bag, go for a run.

Sometimes I think being with an extrovert is not such a good idea. They have to work everything out verbally and too often innocent people [me] get caught in the crossfire of their random shared musings.

Figure our your feelings before troubling me with them. Please and thank you. Get a diary or a therapist or a buddy or a pet and talk it out with them first. I'm tired of dealing with emotional baggage for two, I've got enough of my own, thank you very much.

I have a headache now.
I feel you wild~hair. My SO's excuse isn't usually "stress" though. It's usually "tired", "headache", misc-random-pain-ache, ok it's really any excuse possible to make up when he's like that. I want to run for the hills screaming just so I won't have to put up with it.

Do we have the same SO?

Not that you can really tell from this pic, but it is snowing here in VA. They're talking about it in the news as if it's some big emergency. Run for your lives!!!!

Well, the natural springs on the property are booming. Little waterfalls are popping up all over the mountain. It's so beautiful, but thank goodness for the ditches.

If we can just make it through tonight, we will have a few days to dry out.

It's not been good though. Mud slides have taken out major tourist roads (all over the surrounding area), it will take a long time and $$$$ to repair, and the local economy will take a serious beating.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

After we moved to CT I was absolutely shocked at the tizzy the news people would get themselves into when there was talk of snow. I always thought that in places where it has snowed for THAT darn long that it was old hat for them, but apparently drama lives!

Byron,GA> Charleston, SC> Jacksonville, FL> Guilford, CT> Rohnert Park, CA! A southern drawl in sunny Cali! .
The amount of time from slipping on the peel and landing on the pavement is exactly one bananosecond.
I do have a secret yen for pink in unexpected places. ~ninja dog
I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Ok, so I got my first massage at physical therapy today and HOLY HELL. I wanted to just lay there all day it felt so good! Why on earth haven't they been giving me those all along!?!?!?! And the guy that did it is such a nice person, I didn't feel uncomfortable at all even though I'm usually really strange about people touching me.

The temps have remained in the 50's and 40's, day and night, for several days, the ground is beyond saturated, it is currently still in the 40's, yet the local news is calling for armageddon between 12-2 am.

They take the panic route every single time.

It does not help matters. They react this way over every skiff and then some people don't believe them when a real snow comes.

The ninnies even closed school today because of a chance of snow tonight. Call it like it is. We have gotten over a foot of rain already. Close school due to mud slide chances and flooding.

Every day I receive at least 3 of the same stupid message on my phone. "You have been selected" blah blah as someone with diabetes or Alzheimers....

WTF? I don't have either of those maladies and I have visions of shooting whatever dam fool thinks everyone over 65 wants to hear this carp.

Sometimes I get offers to buy Viagra. Comic relief.
2/c and some 3A. Modified CG.
Protein sensitive
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
I just caught up on some of the posts. I see many have been having bad days, hard times or are going through something so...

Wild Sas, I am so very sorry. I have been in that position, with my grandfather. I just stayed by him, held his hand, talked to him, and told him it was okay to go. I managed to have some very special moments with him, even though he was not himself, due to the morphine.

I know it is hard, and again I am sorry, but glad you are able to be with him.

When I was a kid in PA, we had to get massive amounts of snow for them to cancel school. And the snow had to actually exist, lol. (And we walked to school barefoot...in the snow...uphill...both ways)
