I just had lunch with a friend, who spent the whole time ranting about Lance Armstrong. She's an MD in Colombia and a former athlete, and she went on and on about how those drugs worked, why the whole doping scandal is such a big deal, how it was obvious to anyone with a clue that he was doping in 1999, and how there's no way there aren't several people at the top who knew about what Lance was doing, because it's impossible to do the kind of doping he was doing secretly. Now I'm indifferent to the whole scandal, but that rant? It was glorious. I LOVE people who know their **** and get righteously angry over it. It's like when Saria rants about a crime against cookery. Even if I have no idea what they're talking about I still get all warm and fuzzy over it.

I'm sure for a lot of people, $25 is hard to come by. They're are people struggling to buy groceries, pay oil bills, electric, etc. for their own children. In a lot of families. sports is a luxury for their kids, simply because of the cost. I'm sure that none of it is personal. Everyone is experiencing hard times.

Wow, that made me tired trying to read it. But I do appericate you sharing it. : )

I have no idea why it's not quoting everything, including the part with 'appericate' which was my favorite.
NC is working hard on my last nerve today. Quoting trouble, can't 'like' stuff, leaping around, I click on a topic and it jumps to another one not even nearby. Grrr.

This woman almost plowed me over with her cart, but she looked SO annoyed by me standing "in the way" of her cart that I apologized for some reason. Maybe "apologizing less" should be my New Years resolution...

I'm not sure why she wonders why people can't make an effort to donate money when she can't make an effort to type complete words.

RCC, every post she does is like that. It drives me crazy. I really don't know why she bugs me so much. For some reason she just does.
