I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

Hahaha, I love it when I get home from work on a Friday night and my little brother's friends are over. Okay, that sounds creepy. Let me explain... I enjoy it because I love hearing their dumb comments. Those little 16-year-old extrovert turds can't understand why I might WANT to be at home on a Friday night. They're always like "shouldn't you be out DOING THINGS?! IT'S A FRIDAY!!!!!! AND YOU'RE IN COLLEGE!" And I'm like "Nope. Look! I bought Taco Bell and rented a movie! THAT'S WHAT I CALL FRIDAY! Now if you'll excuse me, my sweatpants are waiting for me."

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Does anyone want the peanut butter truffle balls?

I'm sort of shocked I really don't care for those.

(I'm trying to see how many posts I can do that include the mention of balls.)

SCG, so true! Look, it's not like I purposely shun 98% of men. I just can't help it. My brain, it is not wired that way!

While I was in New York I brought up how I have no friends here and explained that I can't truly say any of the people I work with are friends. A part of it is actually that in NYC kitchens most people don't have cars, so there's just more likelihood of leaving work together or hanging out after work. Likewise meeting up before work. The other thing is that people here are coupled, which also makes bonding more difficult.
But finally, there is this example. There's a young woman who has a Dominican boyfriend and she's spoken of his jealous tendencies. How they'd argue if she hung out with people from work, he "lets" her do certain things, etc. Tonight she was talking about how they're improved because he's easing up, his mom told him she's allowed to have friends, and so on. Y'all, you'd think this was a revolutionary concept. And I'm sorry, but dating a man who thought this way is just so foreign to me. Like I'd try not to judge, but that's just too much effort. Plus I'm quite alright with failing spectacularly at it. Ain't nobody got time time for that.
She had a girls' night with a friend "because he was busy".

And how she knows he's just not the type to tell her to have fun while she does her own thing instead of them doing things together.
Oh, and also that he told her he was going out with high school friends and that she knew one of the "girls" liked him, but she wouldn't make a big deal because she is trying to get him to not do it to her.
For real, maybe it's just because I'm a weirdo, but why are women always so convinced that someone wants their man that I sure as hell wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. Don't nobody want your scrub!
Yeah, I just feel like I'm on a different level altogether than this woman. I cannot connect.

I am such a sucker for little people pjs. My kids would have 50,000 pairs each if I didn't stop myself.

I have all 10 also.

They should add, when someone asks you to hangout your first reaction is UGHHH.
