Do not wait to get that fixed! It will be a hit in the pocketbook and in the mouth! Cheaper to get the filling and not wait or a crown and it's 1k.

I'm guessing I'll have to get a crown too and the best part is it's right next to a cracked tooth that I had filled a few months ago in the hopes it would help, but it's just started hurting this past week. The dentist said if that filling didn't help with the pain in the cracked tooth the next step is to get a crown so I'll have to get two right next to each other. YAY!

The tooth that broke off isn't hurting so it's not an emergency and I'm going to get some temporary filling stuff just for the weekend until I can call my dentist on Monday. It's super sharp and my tongue is getting caught on it so I'm hoping the temp stuff will help with that. I'm just all paranoid the filling is going to totally come out or something. Feels so weird, like a crater in my tooth.

It broke while I was eating a biscuit, the shame. My best friend just had a tooth break while eating chocolate so I totally blame her for this. Coincidence? How strange.

I was eating something soft as well when mine broke! Gettin the crown depends on if you have more filling than actual tooth, which is what I had so the crown was mandatory.

Just an eyeball-it estimation seems like I have more filling than tooth, which is probably why the corner broke because there wasn't much tooth there to start with. It's a really old filling too so I guess it was bound to happen. At least it's not hurting, or if it is I can't tell it since the tooth next to it was hurting already.

Getting old = the pits.

I'm suggesting we eat cupcakes the rest of the weekend because that's soft food. (I'm not going to point out it was soft food that broke it haha )

Lol Yup, that sound exactly how mine went. It was the corner of my tooth and was really jagged. Good luck springy! Hope you don't need a crown and if you do, I hope it isn't expensive. I had to pay the full amount myself ($1200)

I've had that happen several times because I have a lot of fillings (and I'm ancient). A veritable antique - that's your cp.

It always seems to happen on the weekend, and it's OK to wait until Monday to call your dentist since it's not hurting. if you get a crown, just consider yourself royalty.

+1 I know a guy who did this. He considered it Buddhist for some reason. A nut job.

Yeeee-ouch! It's crazy what we have to pay to be caused pain.

I'm definitely curious to find out what all this will cost if I need two crowns. I've never used our insurance for more than cleanings and a filling or two, plus it changed last year and I'm really unfamiliar with our coverage now. If I can get the jagged edge filled in a little just to get me by until the dentist can see me I'll be fine until then.

so my friend told me that there are apps that allow people to disguise their phone number as a different one. Which I think is why, these random numbers keep texting and calling my phone. I think it's the same person. It's really annoying. I answered the other day and the person didn't say anything and then they hung up.

Get. a. life. please. Whoever you are.

I asked my mom to change my number and she was like why is someone threatening you? is someone harassing you? We can change numbers and then you can just tell your friends we switched numbers.

Hoo, boy.

I was not expecting the wife of the subject of my most recent blog post to comment.

It could have gone a lot worse.

I parked next to a Mercedes taking up two spaces today. I wanted to leave a note that said, "You're like someone in a song by Prince.....in a bad way," but I was scared some wild-ass alarm would go off if I touched the wipers.

So, I'll say it here: You, Sir (because for certain it was a guy), are an *SS.

Thanks, springy.

I'm a little uncomfortable with it. I never dreamed she or he would find/read it.

Sorry about your tooth. I once went weeks while missing a filling (with Mr. Dentist's permission), but there was no pain and it was a molar. Hope this is all a minor setback.

Lady V, I am older than you. My interest is piqued, who is it?
It's the Crown Heights Affair. Now the issue is seeing if I can get anyone to go with me, heh.
