It feels...wrong being that it's over a holiday weekend (Fri and Tues out) yet it's better then being out five straight days. and the whole while I'm worried that DH or one of the girls will get it. DD1 has exams this week, too.

Ha, just last week I saw on the news that CA was one of the few states that hadn't declared a state of emergency. Wonder how fast that is changing?

We went out to dinner with another couple the other night. They had only been dating a few weeks. They were all 'I've never felt this way in my whole life! We just have SO much in common! We want to spend like every second with each other! We're like a couple of 16 year olds in love for the first time!'

The sat practically on top of each other and just touched and kissed the whole time. I thought we were all talking but then I'd realize they were having this private little conversation between themselves.

You've got to be kidding me. Insert eye roll here. We left dinner and made fun of them in the car and went to the movies where we actually had a good time. We're so not double-date people.

It's so cold here, there are 2-hour delays and closings everywhere. The wind chill was predicted to be as low as 10- 20 degrees below zero.

It's so cold in my house, if I could find my gloves, I'd probably be wearing them. I predict today will be very unproductive.

I want to live somewhere again where this is the case.

Yesterday morning Accuweather said it felt like -39 with the wind chill. The high for the day was -3. Minnesotans gave this news a collective shrug and went on with life as usual.

I have been cold continuously since Saturday. I'm getting tired of it.
