Nice! I happened to mention to my sister that I wanted to buy a pair for work but had a hard time finding them in the store, so she picked these up for me from the scrubs store: 14317 - Black Compression Knee Highs/1 Pr.
I've already noticed a huge difference in my legs after a long day at work! However, I'd be lying if I said I haven't considered wearing these all the time. I have pretty bad circulation in my legs! I'm thinking I might need to try some heavier duty ones in the future, but we'll see.

Marshalls and TJMaxx are definitely hit or miss. I've been there many, many times and found nothing. but all it takes if for me to have one score to make me a believer again, that happened last spring Haven't had any luck since though. Maybe next time!
I can't do purses online, either, for the same reasons as you.

I found this awesome humanitarian aid/development training program being offered in my city this summer... But it costs $3000+.

My offer about the purses --- ordering to my address for shipment to Canada or just straight out taking some of mine --- stands.

In the meantime, JHC! I just rebuilt my bed from the bottom up: slats, frame, that thing under the mattress (box something), mattress, and memory foam pad. It was one of those project fevers I get sometimes. Heavy, awkward work.
The dust under there was awful. All gone now!

My students acted out this advertisement yesterday. I laughed so hard! They told me I was a terrible director. The part where the "female lead" shouted out "line!" had me in stitches. I like my job.
...and Willian Levy, we share the same b-day and thanks for reminding me that I need to move to Cuba.

And I could have written this! It has to pass several usage tests, like is the strap drop long enough for me to put it on my shoulder with only one hand? Are the handles stiff or will they have some give so they're not always in my way? Is it slouchy on the inside or structured and are there enough pockets for all my junk? It's hard to look at a picture online and determine all of these things. haha
All this aside I still want the one on ebay even though I wouldn't be able to return it if I don't like it, it's just cute, darn it! I'm still watching it and trying to decide.

Hey Canadians... Question:
The other night at work, we had a strangely large amount of Canadians come into work. One girl ordered her coffee and then said "And I'd like that with triple cream, please."
I probably sounded like an idiot, because after a few seconds of a blank stare on my face I got it together and then said "... I'm not entirely sure what triple cream is, actually." But then before she could respond, her friend was like "No no, they've got half-and-half over here at the condiment counter."
Is triple cream some elusive Canadian dairy product? Or was she perhaps just asking for triple the normal amount of cream?
I feel like this is a valid question, considering milk does come in bags up in the Great White North.

She was just asking for three times the amount of cream. We have a lot of people who like a triple triple from Tom Hortons. Which is enough sugar to rot your teeth out.

I think she just wanted triple the amount of cream. Double cream is another name for heavy cream, the highest fat percentage for it being 40% (I was hunting some down today because supermarkets carry crap cream for the most part). It goes down from there and up you have clotted cream.

Haha good to know! Thanks! The way she said it is mostly what tripped me up, I think...
I just googled a triple-triple/double-double. That's a lot of milk/sugar!
Do a lot of places (just in general, not necessarily in Canada) put cream and sugar in your coffee for you? It seems odd to me. Like, overall, wouldn't most people be happier to add it themselves? I hate it when people are like "just add some soy milk to that, please" and I'm like... *panic* "GAH, I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH YOU WANT! Don't make me do this, PLEASE!!!"
Sometimes I resort to handing them the carton, and they always look taken aback. Look people, I'm not doing that because I'm lazy. I'm doing it so you won't yell at me when I put too much/not enough milk in your coffee!

Tim Hortons is a massive chain here, similar to Dunkin Donuts, I think.
A place like that, you order it how you want it...DoubleDouble, TripleTriple, etc.
Places like Starbucks, Williams, Timothy's, Second Cup, etc, you do it yourself.
