so I'm mad I spent 100 dollars on a lab book I get to my lab and the teacher is giving out copies of it (you know pages printed) to the students who "forgot" theirs. Um we've had class twice so you know you're not "forgetting", and I asked the teacher I was like do we need the book, becuase I just spent 100 dollars and you just gonna print the pages and hand them out, this is some B.S., and he's like "yea I just make copies for people who forget" HALF THE CLASS IS FORGETTING, HOW CAN YOU NOT REALIZE THEY'RE RIPPING YOU OFF, AND NOW I'M MAD BECAUSE I CAN'T RIP YOU OFF BECAUSE I BOUGHT THE DUMB BOOK AND I DON'T EVEN NEED IT SINCE YOU'RE JUST HANDING THE SHH OUT.

The leak is from a broken saunter. They had to re-route some of the pipes a month ago, because the contractors who initially did the building were stupid and did it wrong (so the third floor people were dying of heat and the fourth floor people were freezing to death).

I'm definitely keeping an eye on it, no leaks yet (I've even been removing the cover over the pipe to check for any signs of moisture).

While I was waiting for the plumber yesterday, I had a 2L bowl under it. It was almost half filled by the time the plumber showed up. And now all the floors in this place are jacked because they're laminate.

So I got a Queens County Grand Jury summons and I finally looked up what to do when you don't actually live in the place you're supposed to serve and uh, I can't produce any of the required proofs, much less two of them. I don't have a lease, I don't pay utilities, and I don't have a voter's registration card with a Boston address. Welp!
I'm sure I wouldn't be selected anyway, so it can't hurt to go through with it. Right? I mean really, who would be stupid enough to put me on their jury?!

Got up, it was cold. The cat bit my nose.
Got to work.
Found out someone decided they couldn't be arsed to come into work today.
People did half arsed attempts at work.
I ended up finishing the work for them.
I spazz out.
I ignore stupid work people.
I leave work and its chucking it down.
I get soaked.
I go to Pilates.

If it's a grand jury summons, you usually have to go a couple of days a week for a few months - you're handing down indictments not sitting on a trial so it's not like regular jury duty where you get selected to sit or not.

I'm confused. They did something to stop the leaking but they're not going to fully repair it until the weather warms up? Do you not have heat in that room anymore? And now the floors are ruined?

My face is all red today. I look sunburned, but no, I'm sleet-burned.

This is what happens when it starts sleeting 9 miles into a 17 mile run, and the fastest way to get home is to just run the remaining 8 miles home.

It felt like running through falling shards of glass. Ow.

You guys and all your dern purse talk. I just spent 4 hours on Ebay looking and looking. Luckily there were 327,000 purses to choose from so I got 2 for $25 and free shipping. I found lots more but I need to clean out my big chest full of purses to see what colors I need most.

I can't decide if I should start keeping snacks in my office so I have something to eat in the afternoon when I'm hungry, or if I shouldn't, because then I'll eat it even if I don't need it.
