so I'm reading beautiful creatures (the movies coming out soon)

OMG. it takes place in the viewpoint of the guy.
He is a total woman hater. He calls girls sluts, I'm just like No.

Their prom dresses are slutty.....ugh.

What kind of author would think that's okay? When young girls are gonna be reading this and think I'm a slut because my prom dress is mermaid style. gtfo, ain't nobody got time for slut shaming.

Then he even said, she doesn't need make up like the other girls UM, NO ONE NEEDS IT, IT'S A CHOICE, FOOL.

ughhhhh *vomits* I can't even continue but I paid for it.

Third person just proved to me that people are stupid. Time to go home. Three strikes and I'm out!

(better to leave now than to send the email I'm considering)

CIBC - I am so sorry!! (((HUGS)))

I got my cast cut off yesterday and they didn't put another one on because my mufferpluckin eczema partied down in the last cast and my leg and foot are frighteningly revolting looking. And uncomfy. So I get to wear white cotton no-show socks in the middle of winter along with prescription orthotic inserts and hope my freakin foot continues to heal and not be reinjuried without a cast and boot to protect it.

I could take a real shower and wash my foot if my hot water heater hadn't died yesterday. Plumber still working right now.

I may just give up and cry. No wait, my friend Stoney Westmoreland is going to be on NCIS Los Angeles tonight!!! I am so excited about that!

It is -42C with windchill here!

And my heating pipes are no longer providing heat (I called the landlords but so far nothing, I WILL CALL AGAIN DAILY UNTIL I HAVE HEAT).

I wish I could record conversations so that I would have something to give the courts when they try to charge me for frozen pipes.

Because it will happen and they will charge me. *headdesk*

Update: Fla. says it was wrong to accuse man of fraud after taking wife's last name

I'm glad that Florida changed its tune.

Thank you very much, everybody.

I came home from work today and saw the obituary and broke-down for the first time. Everybody's tagging him in Facebook tributes and photos, and it's a little weird getting all those alerts.

He was an awesome guy and one of the ones I held-up as reassurance that there were still some really great ones left. Somebody once wrote a letter about him and described him as being like a young gentleman out of another era, with so much class and respect.

I'm glad his wife had twins last year, and that both their families are nearby. This guy ALWAYS had a smile on his face. He was amazing. He taught us all about being strong seizing the day.

Me: I have a crush on our lecturer.
Friend: You do not have a crush on him, you just miss his classes.
Me: This is true. I considered going to his classes.
Friend: No. That would freak him out.
Me: But what am I supposed to do?
Friend: Just go tell him you miss him.

Where? Where do I find these people?

My sister just so happened to be awake this morning when I was leaving for work

sis: (looking at me with concern) Are you ok?
me: (looking at her with confusion) Yeah.
sis: are you sick?
me: no
sis: Did you get enough sleep last night?
me: yes. why?
sis: you look...tired. your eyes are puffy and you have circles under your eyes. you look run down or something.
me: wow. thanks. i guess thats why i dont get hit on by the pervs on the train.
sis: (LOL) thats not what i mean. you just look like you need a vacation or something.
me: (I look at her and walk out the door to go catch my bus)
