I walked for my M.S. because I was still living in town at the time, so meh.

My husband didn't walk for his PhD, because even though he defended in May, he didn't technically graduate until the end of the summer, and couldn't walk until August. By August, we were living halfway across the country for his new job and it was too much of a hassle to go back for it.

No lunch today. I was going to print a flier for a mass mailing (2200+ people to mail to) and about 140 copies in, it breaks.

Yeah.

I was accused of taking 1.50 in change. Why would I have her 1.50 if she claimed over and over she didn't have any money? Why would I take it period?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Ugh. I swear I sent her a text (while we sat on separate couches yesterday) telling her that she wasn't welcome at my home anymore. Nothing happened.

Again, she has a place to stay. She needs to go there. ASAP.

But I know she keeps putting it off in case she can convince me to try some more.

I wish we could, but we don't get each other. I mean yesterday it was about parchment paper! As if you can POSSIBLY have a fight over parchment paper. WTF???!!

Yeah. And I'm the contact for the flier. I'm going to be FAMOUS among city officials, police chiefs, city attorneys, fire chiefs, etc. Not the group I was ever considering to become popular with.

Probably too aggressive, but can you tell her you're changing the locks on the first and she'll need to have her stuff out by then, or make an appointment for when to grab it?

I should not need the fluffiest socks I own, a long sleeve shirt, sweater, blanket and (of course) pants to be warm in my own apartment!

I should be able to walk around buck naked and be toasty (especially with the heat turned all the way up).

I think the ice on my balcony door is a sign. Probably whatever is causing that massive ice build up is also causing all the heat in the place to disappear.

Anyone wanna come warm me up? Or better, anyone have a warm place I can escape to with my two kitties (however much I like them cuddling, I know they are cuddling solely for my body heat and that it has nothing to do with them actually liking me).

Was it one of you guys who mentioned the Lizzie Bennet Diaries? I started watching last night on a whim, not expecting all that much because the only thing I love about P&P is the clothes. I just finished the latest episode and ohmygod I love it! I haven't been this excited about a show in a long time.

And how hot is Bing Lee? Every time he's on screen I just stare and smile at the hotness and cuteness. If I had to spend much time with a person like that irl I'd probably punch him in the face because that much niceness is just not okay, but in fiction I find him charming and adorable. And hot. Definitely hot.
