I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
I was talking with my physical therapist about things I could do at home (massage, stretching and daily maintenance) to help with my neck, jaw, and ear issues since the limit on my visits is coming up and she said I could pull my ears. No, I'm not kidding.

I refuse to tell Mr. Spring about this.

I swear I'mma hush after this, but have y'all ever tried Noosa yogurt?

I had one small bite out of the mango flavor I bought today and oh my word, either I was just really hungry or it's REALLY good.

Hah! It's not Mia, although she did march straight into a snowbank last week and had to get pulled out by her little piggy legs (you do know she's named after another dog I know, right?).

It's Polly, the mostly good one. She hides whenever she's nervous (which is often), so it took me almost a day to discover the break.

The x-rays were horrible. They're keeping her overnight and operating in the morning. I'm pretty much beside myself. I know not everyone is an animal lover but she had such a tough early life that I can't stand the thought of her being in pain or thinking she's been abandoned again.

I know they're keeping her comfortable on drugs.

I just miss her so much already.

(Interestingly, the vet wore an hijab. She used a silver clip with animal profiles to keep it closed. I'm glad she's found a place to practice out here in the hinterlands. )

Some people claim that their productivity increases when they don't have their computer (ie they study more). ********. My productivity falls, grinds to a screeching halt, without my computer. My life does not move. Today I found out what it would be like to live without my computer. To fear that I would need a new one, that I would lose all my info.

I love my computer. Steve Jobs and to the gentleman whose name I have forgotten, thank you so, so very much for my my life easier.

Speaking of purses... WHAT-WHAT!?!

Jess, we are purse twinsies!!!! It is the perfect color orange.

This surprise gift just came in the mail. I am BEYOND thrilled and shocked and humbled and utterly gracious someone would think of me. And I'm also an over-user of 'and', sorry grammarians.

I have some wonderful friends, beyond wonderful and awesome. A friend saw that I fell in love with this and sent it to me and I swear I didn't get teary when I opened the box. SWEAR. Because I'm a solid rock of non-emotion, now excuse me while I get another Puffs.

Thanks for all the good wishes.

I'm glad springy got her purse, even if it is ruffled.

Why can't I sleep on a cot at the vets?

spring, your new purse is gorgeous, and that was a lovely story!

claudine, I'm so sorry to hear about Polly. And I'd want to sleep at the vet's office too if it were my fur-baby. (((hugs)))
