Same here. I noticed yesterday that I'd finally managed to get up to 1300-some-odd posts.....and 400-some-odd have gone poof. So cruel. Makes my introverted-lurker-self want to go back into lurkerdom. But then I couldn't post pretty purse pics and obsess over Jeepy's aunt's cake, so, nah.

Ewww, Saria, that dude is stoopid. And, you hit the nail on the head! If you were a guy or a less attractive female, he wouldn't GAF.
BF has a friend who harasses me constantly because he doesn't like the way I greet him.
A couple of weeks ago I saw him in the bank, said 'hello' and headed straight to the line. When he finally got in line behind me, he asked me, "Who do you think you are? Just say 'hello' but don't give me a kiss (on the cheek)?" I was like "......... (major side eye) I said 'hi' and that's all you'll get from this gringa." I know there is a cultural thing going on here, but he also knows I don't really like him, and only tolerate him because he is a great friend to BF.
A couple of days later, we had dinner with some friends in the restaurant where he works. He came out from behind the bar to say hi and proceeded to tell this story and make me look like a rude b*tch. My BF and friends were just looking at him while he was laughing like an idiot.

nynaeve- Have I mentioned I am so glad you are back? Husband commiseration.
He doesn't do this anymore, but my husband would go right by the grocery store and flat out refuse to stop for me. It was so odd.
I hate the maid/mommy thing!! Every night, the kids get their clothes for the next day. Put their shoes back in the basket- because somehow they mysteriously disappear from there at least 6 times. Clothes get washed if necessary and we are good to go in the morning.
Every.Single.Morning. he stands in front of his closet, "where are my pants. Where is my shirt? I don't have any brown socks. Where are my shoes." My kids manage to take care of this stuff the night before, without my asking. Why can't he?

Saria, going back to the pad thai discussion--any restaurant recs in Manhattan? Preferably west side but I'll go wherever you tell me to. Or if there's no decent pad thai to be had in Manhattan, any Filipino restaurant recs? I'm going out tonight with a friend who's not a picky eater for a change  and if I can't have pad thai I want Filipino food.

Oh boy does he. He likes to sleep right between us most nights with the covers over him like a little person. Some nights he'll start off in the middle then move to beside my hip stuck to me like velcro in an attempt to shove me off the bed. Other nights he'll move to right between Mr. Springs knees which he doesn't do to me because he knows that isht don't fly on momma's side of the bed.
