All the snow pictures I'm seeing make me want hot chocolate.

I was talking with Mr. S about what we'd be dealing with if we were still in CT and I said "Yeah, I'd be at the window with a cup of coffee.....watching you snow blow." He's a good sport though because he said "Mmmmm, you'd make me hot chocolate, right?".

To get an idea of how high the snow bank is, there is one of those KFC buckets on a pole behind it.

I'll grab one out my front door in a bit!

Where is this? Just curious...... Can't decide if the weather coverage here in the States is just totally USA-centric, or if I missed the part where they mentioned the storms in Canada.

About an hour north or Toronto.

ETA ~
We didn't get it as bad as Toronto did, or at least we're a little better equipped to deal with it. They just don't see the amounts we do, and with so much traffic, makes it more difficult to clear.

Toronto to London (where Rou lives) was supposed to see the worst of it.

We had malls & municipal offices close today though, and that never happens!

If I actually had money to make it to you, I'd be there!

With gifts of course! (I was working on something right now actually!)

OK, thank you! So now I know which leg of the "Snowmageddon" storm produced your snow.

I hope all our curlies have a hot cup of tea or cocoa and warm kitty to snoogle...snuggle? Snoogle...lol. Snuggling while googling? with.

I haven't seen snow like that in years. Anyone remember the blizzard of 78?

That's not terrible considering what they were calling for! I thought you guys were gonna be snowed in for days!

I do remember it, but not well. I was a child in Ohio at the time. Now I live in New England, also hit by the same storm. That alone is impressive.

They are comparing this storm to that one, but I am not yet convinced.

(uh-oh: I think I just taunted the weather gods!)

I lived in Rhode Island at the time. I remember it and Hurricane Gloria in '86. Those are the 2 biggest weather situations that are in my childhood memories....

I think we all need to have a curl-in. No work, school, or chores and we just cuddle up with a book and our favorite fuzzy (blanket or pet).

Reason why I need a car: I told my friend to pick me up at 7:30, it's now 8:25.
