Right? Sometimes when I take someone's order I'm like "dang, that sounds great... I need to remember that!" And then I never do.
I'm now craving a white mocha, and I'm thinking about driving to the nearby mall just so I can procure one!

I want to go scope out the parking situation at the new hair salon I'm going to and oh darn, we're going right by Sbux on the way out. It's really just an excuse to get out of the house and get a coffee.

They must have a different recipe in the US, I was terribly disappointed when I had one here.
Hope Polly's better soon, it's awful having a poorly pup.

I know all you snowy curlies must be sick of it but I'm so jealous. It's been a long time since I've seen snow. I just want to look at it though - it's not been that long that I can't remember the bone-chillingness of it!

Haha! I love it. I wish I had an excuse like that!
It's actually much closer for me to just drive to work, but... I just can't bring myself to go there on my day off! Also, I'm afraid I'll wander over into the makeup section and spend too much money!

Yes, best to avoid that temptation situation!
We have a drive-thru practically around the corner from us, it's dangerous. There is the Sbux which I like getting a treat from in the colder months then right next door is the McDonald's where I like getting an iced coffee in the warmer months.
I will miss this place when we move. lol

You guys, social networking is the coolest!
As you all probs know, I only read YA fiction. Obviously. Like you do, when you're going on 21. Anyway, there's one author who writes really cute books that are mainly released in eBook format, so she's still kind of "indie". Anyway, at some point I started following her on Twitter and she followed me back, and we're basically Twitter besties now.
And now, she just sent me a free copy of her newest book, and I got a shout-out in the acknowledgements section! Teh internets are neat.

^Cool!
I made some lye bread. Otherwise known as pretzel rolls.
Of course my mother upon seeing them:
"That bread was burning!"
S I G H.
I cannot convey to my mother (and lots of people really) the importance of baking bread to a well-browned crust. And two, they're dark because they're dipped in lye! They're supposed to be really dark!!!
Sometimes I do this, too . . .

A+
You know, as much as I adore LBD it is true that we could certainly give stories that have been retold a million times a rest and tell stories that have barely been told.

Picture this: DH and I were in the car, picking up our son from school. DH went in to get him and I stayed in the car with the radio on. The song PYT came on, so I started sorta dancing in my seat and getting into the music. Then I looked over and saw another parent right there getting out of his car. So of course I put on my sunglasses and tried to hide.

I picked up How They Met, which is a collection of short love stories by David levithan, to read before valentines day on my kindle. Out of curiosity I checked the reviews and all the negative reviews complained that there were too many gay/lesbian love stories. I hate people.

Follow up on that. Find out what you supposedly missed. That way (a) you can see if any grading mistakes were made and correct them, and (b) find out what concepts you're weak on and need to study more.

Two weeks before I was supposed to run a marathon for which I have busted my butt training for 18 weeks.
And its my right ankle so I can't even drive.

Since when do frozen bananas break blenders?
I was trying to keep customers happy at work the other night, and the microwave that we use to thaw bananas for smoothies was broken... So the manager on duty was like, "eh, just throw them in there frozen and double blend them. It'll be fine." So I did, with no problems. I continued to use the blenders for the rest of the night for their intended purpose, also with no problems.
Fast forward to last night at work, when I see a note on the register that's like "DON'T BLEND FROZEN BANANAS! It will BREAK the blender!!!!!!"
I'm skeptical. Also, paranoid that my boss is going to yell at me when I see her tomorrow.
