I had no idea Keurig had mini coffee brewers. I bought the cutest red one. That is perfect for me, and so are my new nude Madden heel.

I love retail therapy.

i am back from Ikea! it was a gorgeous day for a drive with Leanne and her daughter Natalie.

i got another Rast 3-drawer dresser to make a bedside table for the other side of my bed, a Marius stool in turquoise, some Skubb drawer organizers and a Bygel rail and hooks to hang necklaces in the dressing room.

we stopped at Lee Valley Tools on the way home so i could get the ring pulls to replace the hardware on my Rast.

i am going to paint my dresser while watching my Keanu and Sandra Bullock in The Lake House.

You guys, social networking is the coolest!

As you all probs know, I only read YA fiction. Obviously. Like you do, when you're going on 21. Anyway, there's one author who writes really cute books that are mainly released in eBook format, so she's still kind of "indie". Anyway, at some point I started following her on Twitter and she followed me back, and we're basically Twitter besties now.

And now, she just sent me a free copy of her newest book, and I got a shout-out in the acknowledgements section! Teh internets are neat.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

^Cool!

I made some lye bread. Otherwise known as pretzel rolls.

Of course my mother upon seeing them:
"That bread was burning!"
S I G H.
I cannot convey to my mother (and lots of people really) the importance of baking bread to a well-browned crust. And two, they're dark because they're dipped in lye! They're supposed to be really dark!!!

I love soft pretzels, whole foods has the best when their bakery makes them that I've found so far. Other than that I find no where that makes soft pretzels. Besides the mall stands.

I fell in love with a pair of shoes just like these that I saw on q movie last week. I am happy now. They are actually a little bit darker than the pic.

I'm watching Avengers again. Two thing:

1)How the hell are they communicating with each other without any ear pieces? I noticed it the first time but now it's bugging me.

2)No way can Hawkeye's quiver hold THAT many arrows. WTF? Next time I watch I'm going to count how many arrows he shoots.

Yes, best to avoid that temptation situation!

We have a drive-thru practically around the corner from us, it's dangerous. There is the Sbux which I like getting a treat from in the colder months then right next door is the McDonald's where I like getting an iced coffee in the warmer months.

I will miss this place when we move. lol
