Ninja, thinking of you and Polly. Hopefully she will be able to keep her leg, but as spring just said, animals are much more flexible than people, she'll adapt, with love and support, and be just fine, whatever the outcome. (((hugs)))

I mean, Alias is obviously the more critically acclaimed show, I just think Maggie Q is better at playing a badass spy. Part of it is her commitment to doing all the fight scenes herself and being experienced at it from her years working with Jackie Chan.

But of course Michael Vartan is a huge upgrade from Shane West.

Thank you all so much.

I'll love her regardless of how she looks or functions, but I'm sad to contemplate the realization that the joyful, racing girl I so enjoyed admiring will be changed. I have every confidence in her vet and I know he'll do whatever's best.

I'm glad I have an excuse to give her her favorite thing: butter (it hides her pills well).

My BFF got me a bunch of stuff she thought I needed: cat food, mashed potatoes (Polly loves them), and mac and cheese. I ate the mac and cheese, but who are Phineas and Ferb, and why have they taken the place of the old elbow macaroni I remember?

Why is it every time I really need to go out, I don't want to go anywhere.

As soon as you're thawed out you should move to Guilford. It's just that easy, right??

They were always out plowing before the snow even stopped and we never had to wait to get out.
People are growing frustrated and taking matters into their own hands like my husband and snow blowing the streets themselves to get by. And it's all over the state. Craziness!

Michael Vartan...*sigh* And of course, Alias has Victor Garber who is this weird combo of scary-as-hell and kinda sweet. He's the best!

Claudine, I'm sorry to hear about poor miss Polly. I hope she makes a swift recovery. Poor baby!

My son was being a pill today and I told him to knock it off. He said, "No talk, Mommy. Look at penis." The masculism, it starts so young.

Poor Polly. She would be fine with three legs, I am sorry for her if she has to go through it.

Phineas and Ferb is a really good kids show on the Disney channel. I'm a big kid I like it.

I wonder who pissed off who now. I hate it when we get these general work relayed emails. 'Remember to be kind to every caller and never interrupt them'. Wtf ever. If my supervisors had any idea how to do the job they would not even waste their breath with that.

Fact: When you have a car wreck and phones are ringing off the hook, plus you have a different medical call on hold because you are answering numerous phone lines, you don't have time to listen to every detail of Average Joe's story about a month long dispute with his second cousin (twice removed) that came to a head 3 days ago, but they just decided to call about it. You have enough time to interrupt and say, "Give me your name and nbr and I will have someone call you". It's not meant to be rude. So sorry if their feelings were hurt. They can get over it. Someone else might die, and thats what you call the higher priority.

Somebody on my FB asked if there was anyone who could do her daughter's weave cheaply. Mind you, the kid is 13 or 14.

Polly will be fine. Remember my cat, Oliver, that had to have a leg (front one at that) be removed? He healed up and was hopping along just fine. Better than ever. They heal fast and adapt so quickly.

Good kitty mama! She will be so much better and she will heal fast too!

Yeah for loving pet owners.

Let us have a moment of silence as I say goodbye to my dear friend Marathon Mascara. We have been together for 40 years.
She was discontinued a few years ago and I bought up a hoard. This is the last of it. I've tried dozens of replacement but she is simply irreplaceable. : (

It's so stupid how I often forget that I hate gorgonzola. I order a dish because it sounds so good, take a bite, and boom, dirty sock in my mouth.
