I had a customer complaint last month about my laugh. It was apparently too loud and obnoxious.

Granted, if I'm laughing at the demo counter, you can hear me at the front door. Oh well.

Well, apparently, I was the last to get the memo about this birthday week, but my daughter's birthday is Sunday the 3rd. She declared this week as her birthday week. Then again, *what does she know? She will be 9.

*actually, the answer to this question is waaaay more than you think. Sigh.

You have the best gif's to go with your posts.

Mr. Spring was in the middle of telling me something about work and I was only half listening when half way into his story I CRACKED (cackled?) UP because I was reading the above. I couldn't even help myself.

Yes, because I'd so much rather have a sullen, brooding employee around...

Now look, for your birthday week (for you beginners) you make it up as you go. Wanna start on your birthday? Go for it. Two days later, you're feeling a little tired and don't want to cook? Play the Birthday Week card and go out to dinner....or pick up takeout if you're one of those guilty types. See how it works?
I like this.
I like this a lot.

This year mine is on a Friday so maybe we'll just do birthday weekend because that seems fun. I'm pretty sure for my 40th we'll be doing a full on week though, it deserves it.

Maybe Mr. Spring can take the day off work and I can drag him to the outlet mall.

You should have seen the manager trying to keep a straight face at that one. We have to be told of all complaints, even the silly ones, lol.

I have a totally true and valid reason why I can't turn in my assignment, Teach The cat pooped on my homework.

Would you believe that excuse? Well, it is true. The cat got trapped in the guestroom and used my homework for a port-a-box. He was yowling and knocking on the door. I thought he was shut up in the bathroom (with litterbox). Nope. I wish I hadn't ignored him and buried my head under my pillow...I could say my homework was made from scratch. lol It did have poo and claw marks on it. It wasn't his fault though...

bbbbbbbbbuuuuttttttttttttttttttttt......

It was last week's assignment and it was already graded! Stillll...

I adore different forms of laughter. The snicker, the cackle, the last dying breath, etc.

I don't know about that nerd laugh though.

That customer can personally KMB. I love a good loud laugh, because I have one.

Mr. Spring just asked me what SMH means.

I should have replied with SMDH.

I fell off a couch and wet my pants laughing once.

It was during a date.

Certainly not as yummy as vanilla bean cream filled donuts would be, but warm cinnamon sugar biscuits right out of the oven aren't bad at all.

The boy who killed my friend pleaded guilty today. No more court battles.

I can't even hate him anymore. I feel queasy when I think about his life, and how irrevocably he ruined it.

And yet, I wish more than anything that my friend was still alive, and his parents freed from their morass of pain and grief.

If the media descends on their house again after the verdict, I will likely go bonkers. I'm trying to save my first arrest for a messy dog rescue, but I may not succeed.

The public message here is that we're "one heartbeat", when in fact, many of us are a f-ing mess. I go to gatherings at my friends' house (Russell King's parents) and I have to leave suddenly so I don't upset everyone by yelling, "It's not okay! It's not okay! It will never be okay!" And I sit in the car with his mother when she cries and I rage inside.

Sometimes a deal with the devil doesn't seem like such a bad idea.
