Ya know, the ladies at the salon I just went to all had rhinestones on the butt of their jeans. Is this a trend in hair salon wear??

Do you like your haircut at all or were you just not impressed with him?

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

It's ok. it's what I asked for - collar bone length with long layers, but I've had better haircuts for sure. I won't go back to him. He was saying things like, "hair color makes you look like you care about how you look...". Hmm, really? So my natural color looks like I don't care? I mean, I don't actually care what people like him think, but what a weird thing to say.

That's an a-hole kind of thing to say and very unprofessional.

My turtle's aquarium filter quit last week. It's too old to fix. So I bought a humongous one off ebay. GDMF filter came today and it leaks. From 2 different spots. Now I have to pay for the return shipping. For a defective filter. I didn't realize I'd have to pay for return shipping for a defective filter.

No, I don't want a replacement. I'll buy one locally. I need it now & I'll be d..... if I set myself up to pay return shipping on a second defective filter. They weigh a ton.

Poor Nutmeg. Another day with a crappy filter. I have to wait for a response from the seller before I can ship it back. Right now it is sitting in a dishpan so I can use it until I can get a replacement. Petsmart here I come!

That's what I thought too. He also said I needed to come in every 6-8 weeks for a cut. Who gets a haircut every 8 weeks?!

I don't want my kids to turn into teenagers. After this experience, I am thinking about apologizing to my sister, bil and parents about anything that I ever did (which was never anything bad) as a teenager.

My neighbor, who has really short and straight hair. More like every few weeks, I'd hate to have that kind of commitment.

I'm lucky to go twice a year! Although if I had someone I really liked and it didn't cost a fortune I'd probably go a little more often. So far I haven't found either of those things with the two people I've tried in the two years we've lived here. $70 for a haircut is just too much.

Mmeerrrh the male I was seeing texted me. He wants to drop off some stuff I left at his place.

Honestly it was just a contacts case, solution, bobby pins, and lip gloss. I really don't need it back.

But I just said I might be around Sunday.

Yes. Long story short he didn't think it was going anywhere, but still wanted to see me until he met someone else and I declined. Thus it ended.

I don't know what preceded these thoughts, but as the parent of two teenage girls, I HIGHLY recommend that you freeze Lily and Bryan, right where they are.

My 14 year old niece is being a butthole to the very people that have done anything and everything for her. She has just hurt my MIL and husband very badly and I just want to shake her.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. From my experience with DD1, 12 to 15 were the worst.

I have often said* that I don't want kids because I was so rotten growing up that I'd get what I deserved. There is no way I could handle round two of me as a teenager.

*jokingly of course, this isn't the real reason I'm not having children

$70? Is that the going rate up by you? I do go every 8 weeks or so, though I sometimes stretch it out to 10 with a bang trim in between, but I pay $40.

Who are you, where did you come from, and why can't you tell the difference between the curtain and what's behind it...
