CP, I hope that having the extra support on here can help bolster your emotional defenses against your sister's fictions. Knowing can be so oddly separate than believing, and you deserve to have both assurances that you are a wonderful person.

Ow, my face. My sinuses are rather angry. My dad says that's how his illness started. THIS HAD BETTER NOT BE THAT. My birthday is in a matter of days and I REFUSE to spend it sick.

OMG, LOOK!!

...It's a siggie.
Would she give you a better rate on the bottom shelf? If she does, I think I would still take a few!

Good luck

It's upsetting because she text me saying she had planned out where everyone was going based on their products and height space they needed etc but some artists weren't happy and demanded to be moved and she is concerned the space now left isn't right for me. So basically someone else got the shelf she earmarked for me.

She was very apologetic about it and Im not really mad at her, I can see it was difficult position to be in, if an artists are right there demanding a different space etc. we chatted over the phone and i was concerned about her having an empty space in her shop until i could get up there but she was fine with it. But I do kind of feel like I've been pushed out and I'm now missing out on a great and needed opportunity. These things happen I guess.

I'm going to ask about the shelf height. My stuff may not even fit in there.

This morning, I would like to say NO. That might change after a great deal of coffee, and it might not.

When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

I'm out doing a site visit this morning, I'll be here a total of about three weeks between now and the end of May. There is a woman here who is not pleasant to deal with, she seems really put out by our visit. Last year I was so happy because she said she was going somewhere else for this school year. Today I see she is still here, and already being...unpleasant.

Ananbananalise, thank you so much for the kind words.
Mojo, You are absolutely right, it is my sister's illness which is talking and I need to remember that.
{{{RubberBiscuit}}} you make me smile, sweetie. Thank you!
Spring1onyou You are a peach! Thank you. It does help a lot to have these responses.
Juana, I know you struggle also in ways. I think of you often. Thanks so much for chiming in.
Jeepy, we are sisters under the skin (curls I know you understand and I truly feel for you.
Wild-Sas, thanks so much for the support! I can't believe how many responded - it is reassuring.

I am eons away from being any kind of super good person and I have huge faults, but I really have been a good, generous, caring sister. My brother says I suffer from a big heart. Nonetheless, it is unnerving to have someone I care about hate me so much..

Really, my self-image has improved since being on line in this forum, because I've really tried to be just me here, and it's heartwarming (hope I am not nauseating anyone) to get these responses. I'm a softie and everyone's input touched me. Thank you all.

Hang in there Ms. Pearl!!!! I think of you often and the hell you went through with the utmost dignity and courage. You'll always be my hero! I always think of you when I eat a cheeseburger...it's a celebration of you! The size of my thighs represent just how often I celebrate you with a cheeseburger and it's worth every inch!!! {{{big hugs}}}

I had a dream last night and I think it shows that even in my subconscious, I think my life is like a dorky romantic comedy.

I was working in a stationary store and The One That Got Away came in with his girlfriend to shop for wedding invitations.

Or does it mean I should get a job in a stationary store?

Hmmm... I may or may not be thinking about spending my day driving around, redeeming all of my free birthday STUFF from places... Free pastry from Panera, free pretzel from Auntie Ann's, and a free drink from Starbs? Hmm...

Also, I'm in the process of signing up for more birthday freebies, so I won't run out of things to do today! Heck yeah!

I haven't got the slightest idea how to change people, but I still keep a long list of prospective candidates just in case I should ever figure it out.
I probably shouldn't have done it, but I sent my "challenging" brother a snarky birthday card.

For my birthday, he addressed the envelope for my card from my SIL and niece, but didn't sign it, or even write a word or two.

It doesn't feel very good to snipe at him, even though he kind of deserves it. I guess this means I did the wrong thing.
