When we get rain here we're on "storm watch". It's the west coast version of the east coast snow storm!

Oh, as for the hot guy/cake situation... Besides CC's pictures (which were awesome), there actually almost sorta was one!

I went out to eat with my family, and my mom happened to bring a yummy cake from a popular local bakery. Our waiter, who was kind of a hottie saw the box and was like "I LOVE THAT PLACE!" Anywho, he later brought us plates and everything, and was super nice. At the end of the night, while he was still admiring the cake, my mom called him over and made him take a piece of it. And then my whole family turned to my sister and was like "HAHAHA, ______, he's hot. You should give him your number." UM, WUT. I'M SITTING RIGHT HERE! AND I'M HOT.

I wonder if this picture will upload on the app.

This is what the highway looked like this morning. This was the good section, because there were some tire ruts in the snow. Most of the way, we couldn't even tell where the lanes were.

It's supposed to snow 3 - 7 more inches during the day today.

But of course, the only thing canceled is suburban schools. The city schools are going as normal. And everyone has to pile onto the interstate and drive to work on dangerous roads.

Sigh.
