Pittsburgh seems like a nice city, or rather, a city with nice people. Good to read about the support the print shop received.

Interesting iroc. Thanks. I used perfect 10 to try and even out my roots and highlights. That made me orange all over, even the highlights.

I used a toner to try and get rid of the orange. That didn't work.

I then used a darker ash blonde to cover it up. Went gold.

Tried the toner again. No joy.

This time I tried dark champagne blonde. Gold again, with a few red tones. But darker in natural light.

My hair is now over processed and god knows what colour. At least I didn't turn it green. I did that once.

Whenever I have too much red I have to go darker than usual to try and cover it. And sometimes you just process it too much and the dye just wont take.

To brighten up my natural color I use light ash brown. Medium brown is more like dark, and dark brown is pretty much black, but when I'm covering a lighter, too red color, I have to use medium ash brown or else it doesnt cover.

Natural Instincts in the lightest ash blonde can be used as a toner, but I've never had good luck with toners.

I use Medium ash blonde to lighten. The color on the box scares me bc I dont want to go that light, but it never does. Dark ash blonde does nothing. I mean nothing. Im like, oh, so I just put chemicals on my hair for no reason. And that sucks bc the dark ash blonde picture on the box is the color I want. I no get.

I've got a purple toner to take out yellow tones and a blue one to take out red ones. Maybe toner isn't the right word.

Even though my GYN office is technically owned by a male doctor, I rarely see him. I mainly deal with the midwives. And thank the Lord the office got a female doctor awhile ago.

I'm craving the lemon pudding cake I made when I was home a few weeks ago. It was tiny (just one single egg), but I still shouldn't have eaten it all by myself.
Maybe I'll make a grapefruit one here since it's so quick to make.
We didn't get 1 flake of snow in this storm. Missed us by a hair. Go us!
It's been another good winter, snow-wise.
I kind of miss the big 2-3 foot blizzards tho. Even then, the only thing that closes around here are the schools.

Both my kids cried sick this am so I let them stay home. Turns out they could've gone to school. I think I've made them do more schoolwork than they do at school.

I hate when you only have one hour to really nap before work.
I am cracking up. I got a request on words with friends but it was one of those crazy names that WWF gives sometimes. The person sent me a message and used a nickname that only close friends and family use. So I took my turn and sent a message asking who it was and guessed that it was a friend of mine. They took their turn and messaged me back that it was 'my bestest sister'. My turn again and i said why is it showing the weird computer generated name. The response was 'I don't know. We are going home tomorrow'.

NOOOO. I am playing WWF and messaging with a stranger!!!

I know a lot of doctors behind the scenes so I'm not too bothered. As long as they're professional and competent I don't worry about what they think. I mean, I don't like the idea of my gyn being sexually excited by when giving me a pelvic exam, but as long as he's not giving out that kind of vibe in anyway I and he's not letting it affect his work then it's not really a problem. Just like, when I worked retail, I could think the customer in front of me was a stupid POS douchebag and still smile and help with whatever he/she needed.

Granted, I don't know any male gyns outside their offices, so I haven't been privy to their away-from-patients work conversations. I would like to see a real study about "attractiveness" and doctor-recommended pap smears, because I'm not buying that blog post. Something is just off about the writing.

Sigh. I know that if I was a good curly, I wouldn't use shampoo anyhow. However, I forgot to use it in the shower today, and omg, my hair is really mad at me.

My hair just loves everything that it's "supposed" to hate... Sulfates, silicone, shampoo...

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
