So, does a hangover count as a legitimate reason to avoid a very difficult family member for an occasion occurring on a chilly night, which also requires a long drive, especially if it's rephrased as "coming down with a cold?"

Omg. You might be taking too many international studies courses when you see this picture:

And assume it's talking about the country of Jordan, and then find yourself incredulous and embarrassed that you've never heard of the Middle Eastern country of Lebron before. *head desk*

shoutout to the curly cones club!!

nearly-daily straightener here, and on my curly days, I shampoo, use cones to weigh down my hair, hairspray to set it, and blow dry it without a diffuser.

I'm thinking of what the people in my generation are going to say are outdated phrases in like twenty years.

"kids these days don't know what tweeting is! we only had 140 characters!!"

"you don't know the struggle of wondering whether or not to change your relationship status to in a relationship or it's complicated!"

"they can't even know what YOLO really means."

I don't know what YOLO means.
I actually don't know what you all are talking about much of the time. The abbreviations are beyond my.

I had to feed Bad the Cat 4 times tonite! He was waiting by the patio door when I got home so I hurried and gave him his dry food. When he was done he sat there staring into the house and looking at me forlornly. So I gave him some canned food. Same trick again so I gave him some cheese. I was rewarded with a head butt to my hand for this. Then he got more dry food and let me pet him for a few seconds. Real progress, but I'll probably go broke feeding him and the 3 other wild cats who now arrive nightly. : )

Okay, this is a beautiful male, but he's far too jailbait-looking for moi. I appreciate his looks more from a detached aesthetic admiration than from a fire in my loins.

Mr. Spring saw someone go off into a ravine in their car today on his way to work. I can't even imagine seeing something like that happen right in front of me.

As he was coming around a curve he saw the woman spin out and her car came to a stop sideways in the middle of the road. As he slowed to a stop he saw her tires start spinning out and ZOOM off she went through a barbed wire fence down into the ravine. So either she panicked at seeing a car coming and hit the gas or she thought she was hitting the brakes, either way she drove herself off a cliff in her panicked state. Thankfully she was ok and even with spotty cell reception they were able to call for help.

I would have isht myself if that happened to me.

Why are my best hair days always those days where I don't go anywhere or see anyone? Conspiracy?

SO just said "I gotta get my nose to the stone tomorrow." I had a laughing fit.

He's wearing sweatpants to client meetings, y'all. Do I need to start a thread to drive home the point of how WRONG that is?

He keeps defending it by saying so-and-so wears torn t-shirts or someone else had a sleeve tattoo. It's not the same! It just isn't! Why doesn't he understand?! Men. I swear he would wear footed pajamas everywhere if he could get away with it.

My sister is acting odd. I am not sure if I even want to go there with her or not. I will probably find out I did something that was never intended the way she took it. Sigh.
