I was thinking of her when I saw it. I mean, it's kind of about me, too, but murrrturtles is the official expert on naps and staying in bed as much as possible.

It would have been perfect if it had included not showering.

10-6:30 = the suckiest shift ever. Not looking forward to tomorrow.

ETA: Now before someone busts in here and is all "Oh really? Worse than 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM?! Huh?" ... Out of all of the shifts that I usually work, 10-6:30 is by far the suckiest. There. Butt = covered.

Tech. It's addictive.
It is crazy, isn't it? It is making me want one, too. I already have the plain kindle, kindle fire, and I want the ipad, too. It is all RCC's fault. Why are you doing this to me?

Since I already have all things kindle, I am thinking I might as well keep it in family and just get the kindle hd with the bigger screen.
Well, I don't have another computer, Kindle, or any other type of reader, so this will cover everything for me. It's a very convenient package. :-)

Part of it was his looks, too. He received a gift of a trident from a sponsor, which was unheard of a time because it was so expensive. His looks often commented upon, and the allusions to how often he was pimped out happen fairly frequently.

Compared to the actors playing Peeta and Gale, the guy playing Finnick is a stud muffin.

Someone just posted this ridiculousness on FB... Poor, poor males. Life is so unfair.

"I wanna roll my eyes right now, but the doctor said if I keep doing it my ocular muscles might spasm and eject my eyeballs."

The entire thing is so stupid. But seriously. Stop feeling bad for yourselves.

I just watched this because a FB friend said how beautiful and moving it was.

http://zengarage.com.au/2013/03/mari...ovic-and-ulay/

Okay, aside from the initial eye-roll caused by overly dramatic artists, I watched and was left with a "that was it?" reaction to the whole thing. I mean, really? That's it? Really?

For real. I imagined Finnick as rugged hot, not pretty boy hot. Like Hugh Jackman in an Irish cable knit sweater and 5 o'clock shadow. Not.....that

Yes! But taller and dark-blond. Wasn't he supposed to be blond? I don't remember for sure but that's how I picture him.

It takes way longer to get ready when there's actually natural light coming into my room. Omg. Does my face ALWAYS look like this?!?!? I think I'd rather not know, and just rely on unnatural light.

It's funny how different one can look in various lighting. One of Mr B's daughters has a powder room that is painted in an extremely unflattering shade of baby-poop brown that sucks every bit of light out of the room. I try not to look in the mirror in there, but if I do? I look like Gollum's grandmother. No, great-great-great-grandmother.

In other news, I have two of the most dramatic dogs ever. They're basically the dog versions of Lucille Bluth. My parents went over to my grandparents' house for coffee, which is right next door, and I just heard my dogs doing the sighthound equivalent to weeping and gnashing of teeth, while sitting at the back door watching my grandparents' house. I was witch cackling so hard. I've heard them roo before, but never like this. I swear they were harmonizing at some point... I tried to get a video, but as soon as they realized I was listening they stopped!
