I am kind of in love with Ruby Woo, and am glad I insisted on trying it. I wanted something bright and bold. I believe the woman at the MAC counter was color blind. When I asked what the best reds were for fair skin and lighter hair she pulled out all the muddy orange reds. No, no, no!! Do you want me to look like some form of death?

*Might I add that 1 guy waved, and 2 whistled at me mere moments after I put it on. Of course they were all ugly as homemade sin, but still... It's magic.

Long story short, I snagged FIVE tops that look great, at least two of which could also be worn casually, for the grand total of $67.03! And good brands - 2 Ralph Lauren, 1 BCBGeneration, 1 DKNY, 1 Donna Karan. And they are tops that can go from winter to spring, and work well with the suits and stuff that I already have.
Not sure if you still have a Zellers open near you, but they have supposedly taken a ton of the Bays stuff to clear out. We still have one in Barrie for a few more weeks and a friend said she got a bunch of really nice stuff for next to nothing.

We popped in to look at luggage the other day and all clothes were 70% off. Also lots of kids stuff left.
Yeah, we still have a Zellers. I've been meaning to check it out - thanks for the reminder!

I like a red with a blue tinge for fair skin.

(Off to look up Ruby Woo.)

It's a beautiful cool red. I had read that it was one of those wonder colors that looks good on many different complexions.

I have a hard time with reds. I was not completely sold on the Estee Lauder red I purchased. It's beautiful but was only 85% the right shade on me.

JHC, this pocket pack of Nicorette is about the most poorly designed thing I've ever encountered. I have now resorted to mauling the "dispensing" contraption section just to get at the damned gum.

Gentle reader, it was not a pretty sight.

Labeling cuts out all the guesswork. ijs. Been there, done that.

I don't believe in that, I feel like that's insulting. We're not idiots. A grown up should be able to identify what food they purchased. ESPECAILLY when these adults haven't been to the grocery store all week becuase they knew they were leaving for spring break. My oranges beside my apples and bananas and no one took those also. It's not rocket science. It's just, this isn't mine so I don't use it. How hard is that? HOW HARD IS THAT?

Can't have nice (healthy) things.

I treated myself to a pumice scrubbing stick for the toilet with a HANDLE. Fancy, fancy!

What I really wanted to treat myself to was this patio set at the hardware store that I made the mistake of sitting in and it was HEAVEN. Those chairs was so cush and comfy I wanted to buy a set for the living room and trade in our recliners. LOL But at $699 for the set (four low chairs and a conversation table - wtf, is it gonna talk to me haha) that won't be happening. Every time we go there I'm going to sit in those chairs and dream.

Oh my word, they have just the chairs for sale and we wouldn't have to buy the whole set. Oh goodness... I wish I hadn't seen that because it's still a lot of money at $250 for 2 (on sale! holy jeebus). But no sales tax this weekend...

Someone take the internet away from me.

Those were discontinued in the mid 90s. I'm glad I got mine when there were Warner Brothers stores around. It's so cute!

I think we all need a picture of a cute little rubber baby chicken. And he even lights up and flashes different colors. : )

My cat is snoring her little head off. I have never heard such a loud noise come out of something so small.

UGH!! Between you and Mr. Spring "Let's go get them tomorrow" I'll never be able to resist.

We did just make a little money from selling this Craig's List stuff....

Our landlord may be buying a pergola for the back patio *crosses fingers that pans out* and it would be so nice to have these comfy chairs out there to enjoy the summer.

It doesn't look like much in the picture and I normally hate a low chair, but I sat down in this and it was instant love. ETA: And it rocks!!
