I just ate for the first time since lunch yesterday. And all I had yesterday was half of a salad.

I still feel loopy.

My sense of smell is out of control lately. I just cleaned the whole guinea pig cage, the wiped down the floor around it and I swear I smell pig pee.

I'm probably smelling my couch. Which probably has 10 other gross things on it as well, so don't bother judging me on possible pig pee on the couch. Its a 7 year old couch and my children are 8 and 5. Use your imagination.

Use a steam cleaner on it. Really helps with the smell of urine (says she with many dogs).

i don't want to stay home tonight... i haven't yet seen the sound and light show for the skating and they've added 2 extra shows for tonight; the last night.

the shows are at 8:00, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:20.

i'm just hoping that downtown won't be completely jammed tonight with students from the local college and university out partying in advance of tomorrow.

I guess today's the day for confronting rude *****es while shopping. On line at the pharmacy, the woman in front of me asked (in Spanish) the cashier, apropos of nothing, if he was Dominican. When he said yes, she responded...

"I don't understand how you people speak."

The cashier laughed it off. I...chose not to.

Me: Excuse me, I'm Dominican. Can you understand me?

Stupid ass *****: Yes, but you speak well.

Me: And where are you from?

Stupid ass *****: I'm Peruvian.

Me: And Peruvians and Dominicans don't speak the same language?

Stupid ass *****: No, we speak Castellano, you speak a dialect.

Yeah. Let's just say that conversation ended with the cashier laughing his ass off, the woman's teen daughter looking horribly embarrassed, and the woman stuttering in her perfect "Castellano."

GTFO with that crap.

WTF is that noise? Something sounds like a very loud dying cow upstairs in my office building but I can't find exactly where it is coming from, which means the origin is probably above the court rooms.

Hope that works! I'll go poke around in there too and see if it helps.
I still haven't gotten a single notification, so that didn't seem to help at all. I did go to your thread in Feedback and add my two cents to it earlier today. For whatever that was worth.

As I started reading this I thought "Ohhh, she needs to look at Overstock..." I've got a quilt in my cart right now I'm thinking about. Esprit Capri 3-piece Quilt Set | Overstock.com

I can only use the "It's my birthday month" excuse so many times though.

I hope you go out and have a wonderful time! I don't know what the weather is like there, but it has been incredible here. It's the perfect night to get out and enjoy.

Okay. It's a clock making all the noise. A old, school house, type clock. I think it's saying farewell.

I'm still not either and from the way it seems with the other people in that thread that have been having this problem for quite a while it's like it isn't getting any attention. Those ladies have been complaining about it for a while now and there hasn't even been a response to them in that thread. It is getting old quick having to search through each thread I'm subscribed to and look for the new responses.

-Craig's List prayer circle requested! It's extremely hard to sell a cello and someone is (finally) coming to look at it tomorrow. *fingers crossed* It's got to be a good fit personally for them so it can really go either way.

Good news is we sold my old bicycle today and the lady really loved it. w00t!

The pile o' junk is growing smaller, y'all! CL prayer circle WORKS.

-Operation install pergola and assemble chairs is complete and I am sitting in my comfortable throne as I type. Ahhhhh, cushiony goodness.

Spring, I didn't know you are selling a cello. Which of you plays/played? My daughters play viola and violin, so the string instruments are close to my heart.

eta, I hope you find it a music loving home!
