Is it true that in Italian the word pizza means pie? In which case a pizza pie means pie pie. I should look this up but I'm too lazy.

I don't know. But chai means tea and I always get annoyed when I hear people asking for a chai tea.

Don't let that make you feel bad. Brothers often freak out when the realize sis is not a baby anymore. It can be hard for them to handle. Once he gets his own life, he will stop nit picking at yours.

On 6 days and worked 40 hours in just three of those days. Not to mention having to coddle an incompetent malechild and his male feelings. I earned the hell out of my days off.

So, I'm dealing with some pretty bad stuff at work earlier and my bff keeps texting, and texting, and texting. When I have a moment I look and he has sent me 8 texts, with visual aids, about some weird splotch on his back. He is convinced it's skin cancer and is making out his will. I'm pretty sure I have mentioned his hypochondriac ways 100 times. Anywho, he tells me to come over soon and pick out what I want, and it will be left to me. I reply *as I beat my head on the desk* asking him if someone can check the area for bumps or bite marks. He then proceeds to shoot down any other logical explanation in the name of skin cancer. Effing weirdo. He keeps me forever entertained.

I look forward to arguing with him about his impending doom when we are 80.

Does any one outside the NY/NJ area call it a pie? Out here in CA if I called to order a large pie, they would think I'd called the wrong number, wanting the bakery. It's simply a large pizza.

"naan bread" aka my worst enemy!! I went to a pakistani restaurant that had "naan bread" on the menu and I felt so betrayed.

there's a pizza place here called Pieology and it's the most distressing thing because when I first heard of it, I thought it was a restaurant dedicated to pie and I was overjoyed. and then I found out the truth (however, the pizza is A+++).

No. Pizza means pizza. They don't have pie like ours. The closest thing is a torta.

And then there's tamale and tostone. Grrrr. Worse is that things like "tamale pie" exist so now one is forced into bad Spanish!

DH just set up the Sprint Family Locator on his phone. He promptly got a call from DD1 about it. Are you TRACKING ME? Um,yeah, you have a problem with that? I wonder if he'll keep it, for $5 a month.

Ah, now I get more of the story. He attempted to try it out on DD2 s phone, and it set the program up for all of us on the plan. Apparently, it's telling him that me and my phone are outside by the back gate. Close, I'm sitting on the sofa by the fireplace. DD2 is apparently standing on our neighbors' driveway. Also close, she's sitting in our kitchen. DD 1 better hope none of her friends live next to a bar...or anything.
