Dad looks good. He's plugged into an external pace maker and should be getting the internal one tomorrow.

Nope. Completely normal.

I left my cell phone at home. I was at the train station when I realized I had left it and it was too late to go back home for it. I feel so naked without it. And my job blocks Facebook and Twitter so I won't be able to sneak on those sites throughout the day. Dang.

have you had any melting cycles at all, cmb?

if you're allergic to mould, there is a certain amount of snow mould that is released when the stuff starts to melt.

Hmm, that's a thought. We've probably had enough days at or near 32 degrees lately that some melt has happened.

I have no idea if I'm allergic to mold - my allergies have never been bad enough for me to get allergy tested - but it's a distinct possibility.

They have black dye and white flour. Are you trying to kill me?

Those are very sweet. Mine would never, ever turn out like that. We all know the real reason I hate cute food is because I am cute food deficient.

I called out of work today because my son is still running a fever and my mother cannot keep him because she has appointments today that she cannot take a 6 year old with the flu with her.

When I told my boss, she said "Okay." and hung up without saying bye.

The black dye will definitely do you in.

But then we'd all get to laugh if your buns looked more like Calvin's snowman "art" or like dissolving mud people.

I leave the boy with dad for 30 minutes while I shower and he somehow gets inexplicable blue dye(?) all over his hands. Men.

So my Grandma passed away Saturday. I'm doing Ok, the selfish part of me misses her, but the unselfish part knows her quality of life was terrible these past few weeks and she's in a better place.

Anyway, my Grams was not exactly a sweet old lady that baked cookies, she was a ball buster. My Mom hates driving in the snow and today, on the day of her wake, we have about 3-4 inches of snow on the ground. I can't help but think this is Grams last ball busting of my Mom.

Also? I know people are trying to be kind when they offer help when you lose a loved one. "Let me know if I can do anything" "Call me if you need anything" But do you think that includes shoveling? Because that's what I need.

Yes, I do think it includes shoveling. If a friend or someone I cared about needed help shoveling, I'd come over and shovel. I'd be glad to do it.

Yes, I agree! I'd not shovel, but I'd ask to my hubby to shovel and he'd shovel for you.
