So it must be a thing! Unbelievable.

And yeah, the email me something thing makes me want to send a "letmegooglethatforyou.com" link. Because jesus it's 2013.

Also this man got on me for using a pink highlighter on MY OWN COPY OF RECORDS.

When I made the copy, he was like you can highlight, write on this, whatever when putting together information.

Then yesterday he couldn't be bothered to look for originals (which were in the file) so was working off mine and tried to make a copy but I guess pink highlighter shows up on copies and he's like "this is why we should use yellow"

What? No. You never said a specific color. You have originals to copy. Yellow highlighters make my head hurt tbh so if it's my personal copy to work from who cares what color i use to highlight?? What if I'd written or annotated it like you said I could/should?

Ugh.

Dude. We just had a meeting because that same attorney can't manage to get a deadline right. So now, even though it says in Outlook who created the entry, we have to put our names in so we can be blamed for the attorneys missing their deadlines. (as if our initials are going to make them get **** done on time... and on time means with enough time for us to finish the document off and get it out. Not with 2 minutes to spare before the courts close and you don't even have your TOC or TOAs in. Gah. I need a break. Thank god my attorney is on vacation right now. Although hes managed to have me open 3 cases since he left.

Dooood. Just suck it up and accept that you f-ed up. Don't try to blame the whole lot of us because you can't be trusted to calendar correctly.

At least he didn't ruin your originals by marking them all up.

Pink, blue, yellow. I highlight in whatever color I want. You got a problem with it? Don't work off of my work. Get yo ish together and work off your own damn set.

Stop ^^ really? I can't stand when people avoid responsibility ugh.

Speaking of calendars, this guy refuses to use an Outlook or digital calendar. So he puts everything on a print calendar and updates ish like every day and wants me to print new copies with every update (like changing a doctor's appointment from 2 to 2:30 or marking the possibility that maybe his brother will be in town in a couple of months). I'm not a big environmentalist but that's beyonndd wasteful.

He even had me print and reprint the 2015 calendar because his car's warranty expires or something and he got the date wrong. 2 0 1 5.

This is for Saria. She will appreciate it.

I'm researching making my own vanilla extract and I see that you can make it alcohol and sugar free by using food grade vegetable glycerine instead of the more traditional vodka. Sounds healthier to me since I use it a lot in recipes that are not cooked so the alcohol doesn't have a chance to evaporate. I also don't like the idea of giving the alcohol to my kids or taking it myself, especially while I'm pregnant, which I currently am. I really don't know much about the glycerine though - What are your thoughts on this?

Blah. F.O!! It's been the most beautiful day. Stunning blue skies, no clouds, and in the 50's with a slightly nippy breeze. In the past 30 minutes the sky became completely cloud covered and it's supposed to start snowing in a few hours. I want 73 degrees back. I will glad trade that for the up coming temps in the teens.

I wonder why my sister did't like the apartment I went to see today. She didn't go see it with me but she drove by it and said the area was "sketchy" and that it's all triple deckers.

So I went and looked at it. I'd say three streets over are sketchy but not this street. And, yes, it's all triple deckers. But the apartment! Oh, the apartment! Two bedrooms, 1,000 square feet, washer dryer, pet friendly, beautifully painted. I love everything about it.

But I think my sis is going to be annoyed with me if I take it.

But I LOVE it.

Okay, let me begin by saying, I make cookies often. I spent an entire winter trying out cookie recipes, and for the past 3 years I make cookies practically every week. This is what I got today.

Whatever. The dough is in the fridge. I'm done for tonight.

Take it anyway, springcurl. All that matters is that you love it.

Because I live in a 500 sq. ft. apartment and my landlord raised my rent to $1350 a month.

Just do it. Isn't the majority of New England triple deckers?

Triple deckers in Worcester are like...churches in North Carolina. Cowboy boots in Texas. Rats in NYC. I kiiiid! Really, everything is a triple decker. And if you have to go a whole 3 streets to find a sketchy area, and you like it - take it!!

And maybe I'll meet you for lunch sometime.
