There's a mountain of dishes in the sink (so high you can't fill a glass with water) and they're all the roommates, which is fine. Busy weeks. It happens.

But homegirl is going out of town for a week today so if those dishes are still there when I get home, gurrrrrrllll....

I'm trying really hard not to stand up in this class right now, throw these papers up in the air, and shout "it's Friday and I don't care about this nonsense!"

GUYS I'M ABOUT TO MURDER MICROSOFT WORD!

I have fought with it for like an hour, trying to figure out why it's formatting my paragraph like this. But it's being a total douche, and keeps overriding the changes that I'm trying to make!

Any time I try to change the alignment of one paragraph, it also changes the alignment of a completely separate paragraph or line on the next/previous page. WHAT THE EFF?!

Anybody ever had this happen before? I remember it happening once before for me, but I can't remember how I fixed it! Word is seriously one of the most aggravating programs ever.

Also, I'm trying to indent the first line of one of the paragraphs, and at first it does... And then it's like "LOL, NEVER MIND! I'M GONNA INDENT THE WOHLE THING!" Again, every attempt to fix it is thwarted. 'Cause, you know... The program is smarter than me.

You've probably already done this, but for the indentation issue did you try highlighting the paragraph, right clicking, going to the "paragraph" option of the drop down menu and manually changing the indentation?

fedex is annoying.

They can get a package from halfway across the country in a matter of hours, then it takes them days to get from a location an hour north of me. Then when they finally pick it up instead of delivering it, they right past my town (within a few miles) to drop it off at another fedex facility 40 minutes south of me.

Of course because of their lousy tracking updates I didn't even find out it left Indy until it had already be checked in and out of the other office.

Oh, I 100% agree! FedEx is the worst. Their tracking updates are useless.

annabananalise, I just tried that and it didn't work! At some point, I tried too many different things, because now the paragraph won't even budge. Hahahahaha. Awesome.

Ahhh I just love when Word throws a temper tantrum, don't you?

Usually when it does that to me, I re do the paragraph in a new document. Format it the way I want and then copy/paste back to the original document.

Also for the alignment thing, if isolating the paragraph and adjusting the alignment by highlighting doesn't work and it's at the end of a page, I suggest cheating and making a section break after the paragraph. It's my fake out.

This group has changed so much around here. I remember back when I was in my big man hating days people would jump on my back about how men are great, I'm being all anti man, and clearly I just know the wrong people.

Facebook does too. And so do I when I lay out a document, which I do many times a day.

Like it or not, double spacers, single spacing is the new standard.

Ah, but one of the many perks of getting older is that we can just put on our old lady cranky-pants and ignore those new standards.

At work, I just referred to myself not only in 3rd person, but also as Zuul the demon from Ghostbusters. I said, "Zuul only half that salad and now Zuul wants a nap." And yes, I said it with my best impersonation of Zuul's voice.

I am thinking the only reason I would do this is because I am actually possessed. . . . much like MS Word
