I'm just not a crier. Sorry that I didn't cry at my dad's funeral or my daughter's wedding.
Now I'm moving away and Humpy Leg neighbor said, "When are you moving so I can be emotionally prepared?" Oh, dear. Is she gonna cry? I'm not gonna cry and then I'm going to look hard.

I am a crier. I don't see non-criers as hard, I promise! Just bluff your way through it if she cries:

"Oh you're so sweet. I will miss you but I look at this move as a new opportunity moving forward in my life, new exciting things to come, new experiences. And you have your dog to comfort you in inappropriate ways so . . . "

I'm not a crier, either - but I don't think they judge us (do they???)

meanwhile, she may not cry, she may just have to spend some extra time laying on her special mat thing (and maybe have some extra Miles time)

ETA: just saw goldencurly's reply - we all think it's Miles who will be dealing with her grief

Omg a technician coming to our office is named Mike Meyers. My boss was just like "He didn't say anything funny on the phone tho!"

And you don't say anything funny ever! Lawd knows you try though. Just...

Stop it. Mike is a common name; Meyers is a common name. Stop it.

This guy.

My boss arrrrgggggg
Just had a convo with him where he is explaining a local news story to me
11 year old girl repeatedly raped by an older neighbor, pregnant, has baby
"well, it seems to me that while she is 11 years old, if this was happening every day, obviously she was letting the neighbor in her apartment"

me: "um, she could have been coerced, terrified, etc - perhaps he threatened her mother if she didn't let him in - I mean, she was, by all accounts, repeatedly raped"

"oh maybe" (obviously not even considering this option)

arrrrggggggggggggg

I made pancakes from scratch for dinner last night. For the FIRST TIME EVER!! They were yummy. I liked them.

I let the batter sit for 30 minutes and they were so light a fluffy! And they cooked so fast! And I made some eggs too. I will be making THAT more often. =)

And now to heat up my sinigang and drink my coke for breakfast.

Do you mind sharing your recipe? I found some online, but i dont know which one will taste best.

Honey and water. In a mason jar. Shake every day. Wait.

I kick it old school. Mead is thousands of years old, and I figure old timers didn't do much of anything besides use honey and water. Using raw honey is important for fermention. If you use cooked honey, you'll probably need to add yeast.

NO NO NO NO NO!

I was just stalking my comforter's tracking info, as per usual, because it was supposed to come today. I've been checking it every like 10 minutes all day. I checked it a few minutes ago, and apparently "A correct street number is needed for delivery. UPS is attempting to obtain this information."

WHAT. They HAVE my correct street number!

Now it won't be here until Monday.

OK. I'm super excited! I submitted my W9 and am now waiting for my first project!!!!

If this works out, I can breath a little easier! I've been excessively stressed out about my finances through May and this will DEFINITELY relieve my worry! Ahhhh..... I'm feeling GOOD! Lunch with dad this weekend and possibly mom, work, less stress. NICE.

And I get a $200 gift card for getting AT&T U-verse! Its on its way. YAY!

is there any other paragraph formatted the way you want it? You can use the format painter

Have you tried the Increase Indent button?

I vote for continuing typing as lame as it looks. Show the rulers. When you are done, ctrl+A and then click where the end tabs are supposed to be. It will adjust all paragraphs to the same codes and you won't get wonky sections again.

^ I just attempted to both of those, and none of the text even budged!

I'll have to see if I can re-write the affected paragraphs in another document, and then copy & paste it... It's just frustrating, because this is a long document!

ETA: Woah! I don't know what just happened, but I fixed just about all of the problems! How ridiculous. Word wanted me to delete TWO WORDS from my cover page, and then re-type them. I mean, honestly Word. You're a computer program. You should be smarter than this. That fixed most of the related problems. Same thing with my references page... Now there's just one wonky paragraph. I vow to find the cause of that issue! I've tried playing around with the rulers, but nothing has worked yet. I must find the root of this issue!

Even though it is chilly and gloomy, it's a good day. Not much is going on, a couple people are hiding in the lair, and we are all pilled up watching Happy Days. It's the episode where Fonzie jumps a bunch of cars on his motorcycle.

Ayyyyyyyyy!

My boss is stressing. me. out.

He is waiting for the technician to come (who is late, yes) and he's getting up to walk around every five minutes. To the closet, to the window, turning on extra lights.

And he just jumped on me about the changes I made to a document. They were purely grammatical (punctuation, change "a" to "the", etc.) and before he was like "if you see a small error just change it."Now he's all "redline everything!! 1!"

My teeth sort of hurt today...

Maybe it's because my diet has mainly consisted of Life Saver jelly beans and mini Reese's Cups (WHY are mini's so much more delicious than the regular ones?!) all day?

Nah, probably not.
